Stocktake 2015- Mineral Eye Shadows

Oh, how I love thee, eye shadows. My obsession began with indie minerals.

 This little bag contains no less than 204 samples

Clearly, I probably will never get through all of these eye shadows, I often get tempted to buy more, then remember that I have barely enough room for what I already own. I really hope to see some kind of reduction in the amount I have, rather than this hoarding problem.

    Wow! What a collection! You have more selections than any shop I've seen! It must be good always having the exact colour you are wanting to use!

      Lol, I bought so many when our Aussie dollar was on par with the US. Any sale tempted me. Thankfully, I don't buy as much now.

    Impressive! I love mineral pigments too, I've reorganised my little pots sitting sideways in a nail polish rack, I'm hoping I'll get better use of them if I can see the colours! Nice collection! Xo

      I love how beautiful pigments can be, especially duo chrome shades. My problem is that I don't see them, either. I rarely use these, I'm trying to get through the samples first...very slowly! lol

      I have every colour covered I'm pretty sure. Using them on the other hand is not something I do very often.

BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
