Savvy Lip Lacquers

Image
I am really fond of the Savvy range, available in Priceline. It's been some time since I have purchased anything from this brand, although I always check out the display.  Well, the temptation was too much during the huge 40% off cosmetics sale that Priceline had, and I bought some Savvy Lip Lacquers. A Matte version and 2 of the High Shine. The middle one is "Miss Monroe", it is the matte finish. The label was on the packaging, which is now gone, and I cannot recall the names of the High Shine Lip Lacquers, ugh! As typical for a liquid lip product, these come with a doe foot applicator. Just the right size for precise application. The High Shine Lacquers are like liquid vinyl. They apply opaque and are very pigmented. They're not tacky, but are smooth. Although I do like the shiny finish, I prefer to blot with a tissue for more of a satin finish. It doesn't feel as heavy, and doesn't slide on my lips. As for the Matt...

Savvy "High Voltage"

Image
I've had this little bottle of golden goodness for quite some time. I don't know why I'm only just getting it on my nails, but here it is. "High Voltage" This polish not only contains loads of golden glitter, but also pretty mauve pieces. I have nothing like this in my collection.  It is gorgeous on its own, but I'd love to try it over a more opaque gold or even silver.

Come Play With Me- "A Few of My Favourite Things"

Image
As the title suggests, this is all my favourite things. I'm concentrating on makeup here, otherwise this would take a loooong time. Although, I have many products I adore, I just wanted to create one makeup look. This was not an easy thing to do! I'll list all the makeup products that I used to create this look. As some products are in my daily rotation, I don't class all the items used as favourites. I'll give just a brief rundown of each, with included links to reviewed products. Face: Dermalogica Primer- One of the best primers I've used. Garnier BB Cream for oily/combination skin - HG BB cream, the only one I have bought a back-up for. Silk Naturals HD Peach Concealer - Fantastic at colour correcting my under-eye circles. Dr LeWinn's Antiaging Concealer Mirenesse BB Pore Powder - Perfect for setting my makeup, whilst providing a flattering blurred finish, pity about the smell. Mirenesse Marbled Blush in Carar...

Come Play With Me- "Gold"

Image
Oh joy! It's time for another Come Play With Me feature! I just love the anticipation of the next theme. You never know what kind of makeup will be needed for the next look, it's rather exciting having a new inspiration for creating some makeup fun. Cathy from Silver Screen Beauty Queen kicked off her chosen "Gold" theme, with a lovely sunkissed golden look , so pretty! I love gold shades, but it's not something that I wear often, so I was only too happy to create a look based on this warm metallic shade. Face Natio Pure Mineral Skin Perfecting BB Cream in Medium . EveryDay Minerals "Viki's Radiant Creation" Lucent finishing powder. MAC "NW25" Mineralize Concealer. L'Oreal "Golden Apricot" Delicioux Blush. Benefit Sun Beam highlighter. Eyes Elf "Sheer" Eyelid Primer . Silk Naturals Stick 'Em Eye Primer . 6-Pan MAC palette highlighter shade. 88 Warm Palette blending shade. Hi-Fi...
