It seemed only mere days ago that I was writing up my first empties post. There's still 31 days in October, right??  I can't believe I finished not 1, but 2 perfumes! To be fair, they were not both only used within the month of October, we all know how long it can take to finish a bottle of perfume. Britney Spears Circus Fantasy and FCUK Summer were reviewed here and here . Repurchase? Although they were both decent fragrances, I don't love them enough to buy them again. Burberry "The Beat" perfume sample- I know it was just a sample, but even finishing a sample I find rewarding, it still feels like an achievement. I love perfume samples, I know you can spritz a tester perfume in a store, but I like to try a perfume a few times before making a decision. About a year ago, I wanted to begin my perfume collection. I already had perfume oils, loads of perfume oils, but I decided that having some pretty bottles, I mean store bought spray perfumes needed to be part of my collection. During this frenzy of affordable perfume purchases, Woolies had Britney Spears "Circus Fantasy" on offer. I had never tried this version before, but $15 for the bottle encouraged an impulse buy. And it is a cute bottle :) Circus Fantasy is described as "intoxicating flowers, creamy musk and fruit. Top notes incorporate juicy raspberry zest and apricot blossom. The heart adds blue peony along with lotus and orchid, while base notes include vanilla, musk and violet candy." Upon first spritz, I get a burst of effervescent sweetness. Tart fruits with a splash of bouquet florals make for a fun perfume.  I don't find the fragrance too cloyingly sweet. I wouldn't call the blend unique, yes I've smelled a lot of perfumes that ar...

When I ordered Naughty from My Perfume Samples, it only seemed natural to buy Nice, also. Described as "Romantic and flirty version, is a sparkling fruity scent that blends signature kiwi accord with floral tones, such as jasmine, sweet cupcakes and creamy musk." Out of the two, I was expecting to like Naughty best, assuming it would be a deep, rich scent. Nice is actually more to my liking. Yes, it's sweet like the original Fantasy, but it is creamier, a little more floral and, slightly tangy, thanks to the kiwi accord. The musk gives a slight spiciness.  Although I do like this one, it's still too girly for my liking, another one for my teen daughter :)

If you're a fan of the ever popular Britney Spears "Fantasy", you would most likely have heard of the Naughty and Nice versions.  Described as "Sensual, dark and exotic version, highlights jasmine petals, , white chocolate orchid, sweet cupcake accord, sensual woody notes, orris root and creamy musk." Sensual, dark and exotic this perfume is not, in my opinion. It's naughty, but in a spoilt brat kind of way, lol. It is a little deeper than the original, but only slightly. I used to love the original, but over time, my tastes have changed and I find it a little too girly. Because this fragrance is so similar, it just isn't something that I would buy a full size of, however, I'm sure that my teen daughter will love this sweet, sweet perfume.  What I do love is the cute bottle. If you love the original, I'm sure "Naughty" would have a place in your perfume collection.
