I was so happy that with September the weather would warm up because it meant the arrival of Spring. Nope, didn't really happen where I live, hopefully with October I will see more sunshine! Oh, and of course with a new month it means I get to show you the products I finished. Just a handful of products, really, but I'll quickly run through each item with you. Sunsense Sensitive Invisible 50+ Sunscreen - This sunscreen being zinc based is a physical sunscreen. Thankfully, it isn't a thick product and doesn't give the skin an unwanted white cast like so many often do.  Repurchase? I will repurchase this sunscreen. It has a  high SPF rating, something that is very important here in Australia, plus I  find it works well as a primer under my foundation.  It's Skin Power 10 Formula WH Effector - A light weight serum that is targeted towards those wanting a more even skintone. In my latest Project Pan update I was able to finish 3 products. Because I had to add some other products, I thought I would show you a makeup look using Project Pan and Pan That Palette items. So, the products I used that are in my pan are as follows. I have been showing you progress of my Project Pan and Pan That Palette and it occurred to me that I should show you a makeup look using the products. Models Prefer Infinite Colour Foundation- I bought this months ago, it was 50% off, so figured why not. It's too light on my skin. I find it can get a little streaky when applying with a brush but does apply well with a sponge. It's a nice medium coverage foundation, not bad, but doesn't wow me. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold- I love these cream shadows, especially when using as a base for powder eye shadows. The gold colour has been working well with the olive and brown tones I have been using on my lid. LA Girl Endless Liner in Black- I love that this liner is retractable and is nice and black. What I don't like is it seems to be a drier formula, so it takes some work to apply. I'll be glad when I'm finished this liner. It's time once again for me to show you the progress on my rolling Project Pan. Annoyingly, I forgot to take a photo of the 5 products that I was panning in the last update, but I will show you the single photos of the products. The MBA lipstick sample in OCD I had to part ways with. Unfortunately it started smelling funky, so that and the rest of the samples have to go. It makes me realise just how much I need to be more mindful of what I buy and whether I am realistically going to use it, especially cream based makeup items. I was able to finish the W7 Cosmetics Catwalk Concealer.  I love to see pan! I believe I will be finished the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold by the next update. For such an easy to use neutral lip pencil, it certainly is taking me a while to get through. It's been so long since I've done a FOTD post. I thought what better opportunity to do one than feature my only Lime Crime Unicorn lipstick. I have the shade Varsity.  The packaging of the Unicorn lipsticks is gorgeous! I just love the mauve tube with holographic chrome. One side we have the Lime Crime logo, the other a unicorn. The lipstick is a muted rusty brown shade. It's a lovely creamy formula, that's moisturising on the lips, but not too slippery as to slide every where. It's nicely pigmented and I find it very easy to wear. Today I will be showing you my update on the products I am trying to finish, my last was about 2 months ago. You can see that here . This is a rolling 5 pan so I just replace products as I finish them. I'll start by showing you the ColourPop eye shadow in Cornelius. I used as much as I could, but am calling it a day on this one because it just became too dry to use. I am pretty happy that I got so much use out of it, though. The 2nd product that I finished was the MBA Cosmetics lipstick sample in Drama Queen. I know it's not a huge achievement, but I just want to try and get through these samples before they go bad. The last 2 months I seemed to make better progress on this concealer. I made an effort to use the LA Girl eye liner more, making sure to use on the lower water line as well as the upper, still slow going, but there is progress. I use this neutral coloured lip pencil with almost every lip colour. The except...

I have been a bit slack on the themed makeup front. I had some spare time yesterday, so decided to just go for it and have some fun with makeup. I didn't go too crazy or creative, I just had a bit of a play.  When I think of Easter, the colours that come to mind are pastel shades. Running with this idea, I decided that the perfect palette to use would be the BH Cosmetics Foil Eyes palette. I generally choose a makeup look based around the shades I want to use on my eyes. With all those beautiful foiled eye shadows to choose from, it wasn't easy deciding on the colours. In the end I chose a silvery pink for my lids, 1st shade in 2nd row. In the crease I used the 3rd colour in the 2nd row, a gorgeous mauve shade. On the lower lashline I used the eye shadow to the right of the mauve with the inner half of the lower lashline being the silvery pink. Because I am currently trying to finish a palette in my Pan That Palette project, I will post updates of this Project Pan bi-monthly. You can check out my Intro here . So for my first update I will show you how my progress is going. I will begin with the photo of the products from intro then proceed with the photo of current state of product. This Mirenesse lipstick is done... finally !! It was a decent neutral, creamy lipstick. I only had the smallest amount left to finish and boy it feels good to be done! To replace the Mirenesse lipstick, I chose Drama Queen a pink lipstick sample I ordered from MBA Cosmetics.
