Well, I was hoping to finish 2014 with a bang, but I really didn't empty many products in the month of December. Let me show you. Ciencia8 Collagen8 - This is my second bottle that I have used. The serum is so moisturizing and feels incredible on. My skin seems to love it, since using has become baby soft and almost blemish free! Repurchase? I am using my last Collagen8. I would buy again, but alas I can't justify spending so much on skincare :'( Haus of Gloi "Imp" perfume sample- I just love perfume samples, such a great way to test perfumes. I think you often need more than one use to determine if a perfume is for you or not. Haus of Gloi is a favourite among many indie perfume oil lovers. Repurchase? No. Nice, but not a must have. It's been a while since I have posted an FOTD post, I thought it high time that I remedied this.  Products I used Face Models Prefer Energy Lift primer Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation All Natural Face Apricot Kisses Glow powder L'Oreal "Golden Apricot" Delicieux blush MAC Mineralize Concealer Eyes Elf "Pearl" Eyelid Primer Pigment from Virus Insanity on lid, I'm so bad when it comes to labeling products after depotting into my preferred storage! 88 Warm palette on brows and to contour MAC palette for outer V and highlight Mirenesse Superlong Wear Gel in Black  Prestige "My Blackest Lashes" mascara Mirenesse 24Hr Brow Lift and Shape mascara Lips Mirenesse Auto Lip Liner  in Coco Lip colour visible in palette (sorry, I didn't record the brand and name of lipstick, refer to comment about mineral eye shadow, lol) Boy is my hair in need of a cut and colour!

After using purple and lime on my lids, I wanted to once again to use another unusual combo. I must say that I can't recall using coral and teal together. The shadows I used for my eye look were Virus Insanity " Techno " and Evil Shades "Wanderflower" (No longer available).  To complete the look I also used the 88 Warm palette, MUA Contour Pen and L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes. Obviously this not an everyday look, but I think this colour combination can work. What's an unusual colour combination that has worked for you? I'd love some more inspiration!

Pink is a fave colour of mine, so it would make sense that I would wear it on my lids. The only problem is that I can't always pull off just any shade of pink in a way that flatters my peepers. If I don't apply well, I look like I have been rubbing my eyes, not a good look! With a little help from the 88 Warm palette and MAC 6-pan palette, I created my eye look with Virus Insanity "Princess" . It's a beautiful pink that complimented, rather than become a disaster. I don't like to give up on a colour because it doesn't work the first time. Thankfully, there are so many shades to choose from, you'll generally find one that will work for you :) Do you love pink, too?

Just a quick post to showcase the lovely shadow from Virus Insanity, Techno. It is such a bright green, but with a little olive and brown contouring, I believe it is totally wearable. Not that I'm the best judge, of course. I don't just stick to day friendly neutrals, there's days that I also love to include bright colours on my lids! I think that this shadow is such a gorgeous Spring colour!

If the name Virus Insanity  doesn't grab your attention, if you're like me and love eye shadows, the duo chrome eye shadows will! I can't even remember how I came across this online store, but keep reading, and you'll see why I fell in love with them! The website is easy to navigate, and I really appreciate the fabulous photos that show the eye shadows applied to lids. I know I am raving about the eye shadows, but there are also lip glosses, eye primer and nail polish (unfortunately these aren't shipped internationally from the US).
