Priceline's own brand "Models Prefer" not only carries makeup and skin care but perfumes as well. I wasn't in a hurry to buy any, only because I assumed that being so cheap they would smell that way, too. As I was being impressed by the makeup I had bought, I decided to take a chance and buy a mini. What did I have to lose? I can't seem to find a perfume description, so I will do my best to tell you what I smell. "Adore" is said to be a dupe, but I could't tell you of what. I do love a dupe! :) After first spray, it smells generic and cheap. But before I had a chance to write it off, the perfume began to bloom and develop. The sweet floral fragrance is so pretty and fresh. It isn't heady at all. It is grounded with musk, adding that depth that I really like. Oh, this perfume is so pretty and would be perfect for a casual spring day. It makes me think of sunshine. The longevity is quite good. Well, "Adore" certainly was a nice ...

I've really developed a love of neutral eye shadows. When I first started buying loose mineral eye shadows, all I wanted was a rainbow of colours, barely a neutral shade in sight. To be honest, I thought they were too boring.  Now I appreciate more natural eye shadow shades, or have I just gotten old? Either way, I have a look that I created using a mineral shadow from a favourite indie brand. Yes, I'm sure you've seen my many Silk Naturals raves.  Isn't this silvery taupe colour pretty. It was actually a pleasant surprise, as it looked darker in the little sample baggie. I just love the shimmer in "Kick Start" . It's a neutral, but it really "pops".  I'll always love playing with colour, but I now have a place in my heart for natural hues, too. So for your lids, are you partial to natural, colours, or maybe both?

Of all the skincare brands on offer at TVSN, Skinn is the one that I often can't resist. Dimitri is so passionate about his products, that it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement of his demonstrations.  As you have probably noticed, I have very dark circles. I can't count how many people have asked if I have a black eye, it's never been a nasty comment, but it's so frustrating. I am always on the look out for the  miracle product that will work in this area. I seem to be on a lip product binge, especially brights or deep colours. These I have often shied away from for fear of ending up with messy, smudged lips. But, I was slowly worn down by the many images I saw of women wearing some amazing colours. I didn't want to feel left out any longer! If you can relate, online seller, House of Beauty have such an array of lip shades, you'll be in a world of temptation. Blueberries and licorice, mmm, what a combination. But, before you think gourmand, this perfume is not. It wasn't until I read the description that I knew licorice was even a note in this blend. I can detect now that I know, but it adds depth and density, rather than a sweet obvious stand out addition. I believe it actually creates a masculine side to this fragrance. I love the classic smoky eye look. I don't often create one myself, but when I put a sample of Mon Ennui "Oil Slick" aside to use, I knew that I had to create a smoky eye with it. Unfortunately it is no longer available, so I won't go into detail of the actual eye shadow. I also used 88 Warm palette Mirenesse Longwear Eye Gel in "Black" YBF Universal Brow Pencil Mirenesse Brow mascara Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara The blackened teal duo chrome really gives the look a little something extra special. I wish I could credit the blogger who raved about Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid, it was because of her that I was convinced to grab myself a tube, and unfortunately, I seriously can't remember what blog I was reading. With a Lanolin base, the Lip Aid also contains organic lemon oil. This ingredient gently exfoliates the lips without the need for any harsh physical exfoliating ingredient. The medical grade lanolin in this product not only gives a gloss finish, it also hydrates and softens lips. The balm comes in a 12.5 tube, with screw top lid. Under the lid is a doe foot head with small hole, so you can squeeze the tube, as you apply to the lips. Not as solid as a balm, but still quite thick. I get terribly dry lips. I often have to resort to just wear a lip balm, because lipstick just does not look good on chapped lips.
