Lacura Naturals Macadamia and Shea Butter Lip Balm

Aldi's own skincare brand Lacura, has surprised me with their decent products, considering the very budget friendly prices.

As I was wondering around doing my weekly grocery shopping, I noticed the triple pack of Naturals Macadamia and Shea Butter Lip Balm.

Containing vitamin E, macadamia oil and shea butter, the lip balm moisturises the lips, while protecting them from the sun with spf.

The lip balm comes in a tube, reminds me of the old lip balm tubes., where you twist up, rather than wind.

It is a thick formula and when I began using this lip balm, it did feel heavy on my lips, similar to the feel of lipstick. I did get used to the feel over time.

It is truly hydrating, drenching the lips with the moisturising properties, yet without being sticky.

There is only a low spf factor of 6, but some protection is better than none, I guess. I had never before thought of buying a lip balm with a sunscreen, but lips certainly need protection from the sun, also. Especially being so dry and chapped like mine often get.

Do you use a lip balm with sunscreen?

  1. That's a strangely low SPF! I've been considering trying some Lacura products recently - what would you recommend?
