Optically Glasses

When Optically Australia approached me to promote their online company, at first I was hesitant to accept. I was very grateful for being considered, but prescription glasses is not a subject that I've ever blogged about. On further consideration, I decided that their service and product might interest some of my Aussie glasses wearing readers.

I am required to wear prescription glasses for reading. Just because they're necessary, it doesn't mean they can't look good, too.

Being able to order glasses online is so convenient. You simply choose a frame of your liking, and send a copy of your prescription (I photographed my prescription on my phone, then sent it in an email).

There are so many designs to choose from, starting from as low as $19 to the prestigious designer glasses. You can even get your hands on prescription sunglasses.

No need to be concerned whether the frame will suit. Optically has cleverly included a function on their website where you can use a photo of yourself and "try" the glasses on. I spent quite some time and had a lot of fun using this function as I browsed through the women's glasses. There are just so many frames to choose from that every taste is catered for. If you still can't decide, there is even an option to trial 4 frames at home. How great is that!

The team at Optically are only too happy to assist, being available to contact by email or phone.

Through much deliberation, I chose the Jorgio Peer, a metal semi-rimmed pair of glasses.

They arrived in less than 2 weeks after measurements had been complete for progressive lenses. I was thrilled when I opened the classy looking burgundy and black soft touch case to reveal my new glasses. They are light-weight yet sturdy and well made. I am completely satisfied, but if I wasn't, Optically have a 100% quality guarantee where you can exchange them for free or get a full refund.
