I love trying new polishes and when I saw the interesting finish of textured nail polishes, I just had to try some for myself. After applying a base coat, Orly Bonder, of course, working on one nail at a time, I simply applied Milani Spoiled  in Fuchsia Texture Polish to one half of my nail and OPI Get Your Number Sand on the other side. Before these polishes dried, I used a toothpick to zig zag across the nail. So simple! I have fallen head-over-heels for textured polishes, do you love them, too? :)

I have previously sang the praises of indie make up company, Silk Naturals. They are one of the best online sellers, in terms of product, service and have an air of professionalism. Being one to believe that eye primers are a staple in my make up routine, I had to try Silk Naturals Stick 'Em Eye Shadow Enhancer. This primer comes in a handy 7ml tube. This product is the perfect companion for the use of mineral shadows. Not only do I use it to my prime my lids for application, but have used it many times to apply loose shadows as a liner. Application is simple. Dab a thin layer on the lids, let it dry for mere seconds, then your eyes have a sticky base for minerals to adhere to. On the website, they suggest that those with oily lids use a primer underneath, but I find it fine on its own.  My shadows stays put throughout wear, without creasing. This post is in honour of the lovely Kat from Kat's Colourings . After being one of the winners of her fabulous give away, I was given the opportunity to finally add the Resolution Red L'Oreal Infallible 2 Step Lipstick to my lipstick collection. A product that I had been coveting for some time, but had not purchased because of my make up no-buy. For those a little intimidated by red but so want to sport this sexy shade on their lips, this red is for you! It is such a wearable red, it has a slight pinky tone, so not scary to wear at all.  I love how the 2 step system is in the one tube. You simply apply the colour first. I found that the sponge applicator made for a precise application, which is important when wearing a brighter lip. I was surprised that this product did not apply patchy. Once dry it did feel slightly tight, the way a lip stain can feel on the lips, but there is a solution. Yes, simply slick on a little of the balm, and wow the lips feel so moisturised. I

I like a pinky coral, in fact it's one of my favourite colours. A perfect eye shadow to represent this colour is Panic from indie seller, Evil Shades. In conjunction with Panic eye shadow, I used  a neutral colour as a base and dark brown in the crease. Physicians Formula liner...meh, it's ok Majolica Majorca lash duo, if you've read past EOTD posts, you'd know how much I love this duo! So, not many products at all, actually, lol. I love the warmth of this colour. I also find it quite a flattering shade :)

I can't believe that before using the Natio Glow Skin Brightening Face Balm, I had not used this brand before. I know, right! I don't live under a rock, but with so many brands to choose from, for some reason I just had not gotten around to Natio. I only come to using this product through a program started on beauty website, Beauty Heaven called the Travelling Box, sort of like a Trash n Treasure, where you take out what you want, then replace with what you don't. To be honest, the main reason why I even kept this product was to lighten the box for postage! This balm has been formulated to boost skin vitality and helps even out skin tone. Natural radiance and skin clarity is restored, while ingredients soothe the skin.  This product can be used as a moisturiser, hydrating mask and even a primer. Talk about a multi-purpose product! I love sparkly things, but for my eyes I want shimmer not glitter. What do I do with glitter eye shadow? Put it on my nails!  When I placed an order with Mon Ennui, I ordered some colour shifting eye shadow, I didn't realise how large the glitter was in some of the samples, so the 4 jars sat unused in a make up draw. When I say unused, I don't mean not admired, as I'd often pick the jars up and be mesmerized by the gorgeous colours. Desperately wanting to use them, I decided I'd try applying on my nails. For the base colour, I decided to use Essie Da Bush.  Whilst the second coat was still wet, I sprinkled Mon Ennui Siren over the top. To even out the surface, I applied to thick coats of Seche Vite. I included so many pics to try and capture the sparkle and gorgeous colour of the glitter. I have 3 other glitter eye shadows from Mon Ennui that I'll be sure to post when I apply those to my nails :)
