The Revlon ultra HD Gel Lipcolors had been on my radar and I took the opportunity to buy 2 when I was given some birthday money. Taken from Revlon - "Get high-definition, lightweight colour with new Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor. Intensely hydrating formula with hyaluronic acid."  The lipsticks come in a metallic slim tube with 1.7 g of product. The colour of the tube is similar to the lip shade. They have a yummy vanilla frosting scent. The lipstick applies easily, being a gel formula it just glides across the lips. Lava is a gorgeous orangey/red. It is quite pigmented. This lip product feels so comfortable on the lips and has an almost soothing quality like a balm. I found that the lipstick had quite good lasting power for such a creamy finish. I got around four hours of wear before needing to reapply. I now understand the buzz around the Revlon Ultra Gel Lip Colors. They not only look good, but feel so nice on the lips, too. It's probably no secret that I love ColourPop. I had been so tempted to buy throughout the year, but I only ordered twice last year, the biggest being towards the end of the year. I've been trying not to buy so much makeup, but there's times I just need to treat myself! I took the opportunity to buy some products that I had not tried before. The concealer is packaged in a tube with a wand. The applicator is unlike any I've tried before. It is more of a sponged paddle that's flexible. Applies the concealer just as well as a doe-foot. The consistency is quite creamy, I would say slightly thicker than the Maybelline FitMe concealer. I love this product, it blends nicely and covers my dark circles well. I did set with powder as a preventative step, I always do this with any concealer I'm using so it doesn't crease. I also bought the Precision Brow Pencil. One end there is a spoolie and the other is the wind up pencil. I'm glad I did...

During the Black Friday sales I jumped on a few products from the DesiXKaty collection. I really wanted some products when they were first released, but I just couldn't justify the price, especially taking consideration of the exchange rate from US to Aus dollars and shipping. This is also my first time trying anything from the Dose of Colors range. What I had to have was the eye shadow quad. The shadows looked just as stunning as the packaging. Of course, who orders one thing online? I added lipstick No Shade and liquid lipstick Hot Fire to my order. I was very tempted to grab at least one of the highlighters, but I changed my mind and added Berry Me 2 liquid lipstick from the regular line. I have plenty of highlighters and can't seem to make a dent in any of them! When I received my order the first thing I did was ooh and aah over the packaging. From the sparkle of the gold mesh packaging of the palette to the classy looking nude lipstick casing. Just stunning. ...

I have reviewed the ColourPop Ultra Satins in the past, so I won't go into too much detail about the product, you can read the review here . In short, they are a liquid lipstick with a mousse-y formula. They don't set completely, but are long wearing and very comfortable on the lips. ColourPop had a sale that I couldn't resist (story of my life!) plus with a minimum spend I was able to get free liquid lipstick minis. I chose the Ultra Satin formula because it is my favourite. As a hoarder lover of lipsticks, I actually prefer minis, because I rarely finish a full sized lipstick. The shades I ordered are Frick 'n' Frack, London Fog, Strip and Prim. If you read the post on my lipstick collection , you would notice that of all the lip products I own, lip glosses are a minority. I prefer a longer lasting lip product. However, out of curiosity I decided to try the ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip. Today I will be showing you the shade Hack, which is from the Amanda Steele collaboration. The lip gloss come in a typical gloss tube complete with doe foot applicator. The formula is really nice to wear on the lips. It's not sticky or tacky, but feels smooth and moisturising. Wear time is fairly average, but that was to be expected. The shade of Hack is a sheer peachy nude with golden shimmer. It's such a lovely colour that I find quite flattering on the lips.. For a product that I don't often reach for, I really like the ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lips .

I have been on such a huge liquid lipstick kick lately, and when I say lately I mean the last 12 or so months! Lol. My latest additions are from BH Cosmetics. I restrained myself by only purchasing 4. I bought 2 of each regular matte and metallic finishes. Taken from BH Cosmetics the Mattes  and Metallics - "Put more pow in your pout with our BH Liquid Lipstick, a luscious long lasting full coverage formula that goes on wet and dries to a soft matte finish that won't smudge, budge or transfer." The lipsticks come in a round tube with typical doe foot applicator. I can't seem to detect any fragrance. The lipsticks have a creamy consistency. They apply smoothly to the lips. Once dry you can barely feel them. They are pretty much transfer proof, I do notice the slight traces on my coffee cup, but doing a "kiss" test on my hand didn't reveal any product at all. They wear for hours before beginning to fade in the center of the lips. I...
