IndieAna- In Search of the HolyGrail

Now that I have my own makeup area, re-organizing my items seemed like the best excuse to do a much needed declutter. I must say that I got rid of A LOT. I probably could have been more brutal in my declutter, but it's really a work in progress. I decided to post an updated stocktake of my collection. The last one was July/August 2015!  Today I will show you my face products. Starting with foundation and BB/CC Creams.  I have 4 BB creams and 1 CC cream. I have used them all and so far the Garnier BB cream for oily/combo is still my fave and I will be repurchasing when I have finished some of these. I have 5 foundations. The only one opened is the Rimmel Lasting Finish. Unless I have to review a foundation, I am quite strict about having one open at a time. I have 9 concealers. The W7 Catwalk Concealer I use to colour correct my under eye circles. The YBF compact is currently in use. It is a neutralizing cream concealer, it has a yellow base. Works wel...

Ok, so this is where I'm way out of control, some people may say I'm a hoarder. What can I say? I love my eye shadows, especially palettes.  Oh, I can't forget the few palettes I hauled for my birthday and Christmas presents. They're here . In a few months, I will endeavor to do a proper stocktake that will include number of items. I think that's when it will scare me, lol. I really do love palettes, can you tell! :)

Now that I am onto eye shadows, this is where my biggest "problem" lies. Here are my loose mineral shadows. For years I have been obsessed with mineral makeup. I'll show you..  Neutrals  Whites, greys, silvers  Blues  Peach, oranges, coppers  Greens  Purples Pinks  Green/browns  Browns  Reds  Taupes Golds  Mattes  Box of shadows that I am yet to find storage space for Samples (211 in total) Hmmm, no more buying eye shadows, right? Well, I can't guarantee that, but I'll try! For reference, my March 2013 collection can be viewed here . Let's just say, I may have  added a few to my mineral makeup eye shadows.

In this post I will begin to reveal a little of my beauty obsession, eye makeup.  I haven't bought too many additions since the last post that I showed you my eyeliners. Although I have a lot more pencils, I actually now prefer to line with cream/gel liners. Except for my waterline, a soft pencil is what I use. As for liquid liner, they hardly ever get used. I now know how important grooming the brows is to complete a makeup look. I just haven't developed an obsession to accumulate a lot of brow products...yet. Single eye shadows, eye primers and cream eye shadows.  As you can see, I went through a L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow and Maybelline Color Tattoo obsession. This section of the stocktake items seem to have increased in number...oops! Well, another Stocktake post completed, just 2 more to go!
