Stocktake- Palettes

Ok, so this is where I'm way out of control, some people may say I'm a hoarder. What can I say? I love my eye shadows, especially palettes. 



Oh, I can't forget the few palettes I hauled for my birthday and Christmas presents. They're here. In a few months, I will endeavor to do a proper stocktake that will include number of items. I think that's when it will scare me, lol.

 I really do love palettes, can you tell! :)

      Thanks lovely. I often say to myself, no more eye shadow palettes, then a new palette comes out that I must have, lol

    With every purchase I feel guilt, because I own just about every colour imaginable, I don't need duplicates, but when I see a palette with all the colours popping at me, it's so hard to resist. But, you clearly know this. I love your honesty.

    So excited to see your numbers! I know so many of us have more than we could ever use but I think buying makeup and skincare like a crazy nut job is a hell of a lot better than many other addictions so I never look at anyone's collection and think "That's too much", I see it more as a thing of beauty haha!

    I'm envious of your palette collection, I plan on expanding mine more this year ;)

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
