It really doesn't seem like a month since my last Empties post! Oh well, here goes.. A little bit of everything in this empties posts, except for perfume samples. Yeah, there's a lot of those! Masque-ology Brightening Mask- I bought some of these cloth masks online from Ozsale. It was very wet, but clung to my face well. There was a lot of product in this cloth mask. I removed after around 30 minutes. I then massaged the remaining serum into my skin. Repurchase? I didn't really see any changes in regards to whitening of my skin, which I could really use with all the pigmentation I have. However, I did find it soothing and very hydrating. I do have a couple of others that I am happy to use, but don't feel the need to seek them out to replace. Ciencia8 Preparation8 - This product takes the place of a toner. Another month, another empties post...   In May I finished quite a few products, and discovered some new favourite products. Wotnot Wipes- I bought a pack of 3 of these makeup wipes when on sale. Repurchase? I'm not sure, the wipes did a decent job of removing my makeup after my nightly oil cleanse. I am content using any brand that is cheap and does the job. FCUK Connect Perfume - This was a nice perfume to use, fruity and sweet. Repurchase? The longevity just wasn't good enough to warrant another purchase of this perfume. Skinn Vacuum Deep Pore Cleansing Mask - Ever since having a skin care routine, a clay mask has always been my weekly treatment. I've been using so many Skinn Cosmetics products of late and just had to try one of the brand's iconic products. Repurchase? I would consider after finishing up my current clay masks. I have accumulated a few FCUK perfumes, and no, not because every time I see the lettering I think of the naughty swear word. They're so affordable, and I like them. The one I am using at the moment is "Connect". I really dislike these oblong flacons. The red tint is kind of cool, but the bottle is just so awkward to use!  Description- " ...a floral woody musk fragrance for women. Top notes are lotus, bergamot and lily of the valley. Middle notes are jasmine, violet and peony. Base notes are sandalwood, virginia cedar and amber." Contrary to the description, upon first spray I get sweet berries, not fresh, but syrupy warm berries. The woody, musk notes ground this perfume, it is quite dense. Yet, it's not overly heavy, in fact this fragrance is extremely close to the skin. During wear, the perfume becomes powdery, at this stage it all but disappears. Which is unfortunate, because I love the scent of FCUK "Connect".

Well, I was hoping to finish 2014 with a bang, but I really didn't empty many products in the month of December. Let me show you. Ciencia8 Collagen8 - This is my second bottle that I have used. The serum is so moisturizing and feels incredible on. My skin seems to love it, since using has become baby soft and almost blemish free! Repurchase? I am using my last Collagen8. I would buy again, but alas I can't justify spending so much on skincare :'( Haus of Gloi "Imp" perfume sample- I just love perfume samples, such a great way to test perfumes. I think you often need more than one use to determine if a perfume is for you or not. Haus of Gloi is a favourite among many indie perfume oil lovers. Repurchase? No. Nice, but not a must have. Virus Insanity "Jasper" Eye Shadow- I finished a sample of this eye shadow, which lasted many uses. You can see me wearing it here . Repurchase? FCUK For Her (which reads so wrong, doesn't? lol) is described as "sandalwood, jasmine and Barringtonia flower from Madagascar with its intense sensual scent. The new, modern harmony of aquatic iris and citrus is in the top. The heart is sensual, sexy and provocative thanks to the rich intense bouquet Barringtonia, peony, violet and jasmine. The base is warm and inviting sandalwood, cedar, amber and vanilla. " A complex list of notes, but it is certainly not a complex fragrance. At first spray, I wasn't impressed. For want of a better word, the perfume smelled cheap and almost nasty.  BUT, with wear (not too long) this softens to become the sweet, warm, oriental floral I was hoping for. It's not overly intense, in fact it is rather light, only enveloping the wearer, not the whole room.  FCUK is a simple fragrance that will suit any occasion. The oblong shaped, glass and metal bottle is supposed to represent a modern fragrance, but I loathe the bottle. ...

It seemed only mere days ago that I was writing up my first empties post. There's still 31 days in October, right??  I can't believe I finished not 1, but 2 perfumes! To be fair, they were not both only used within the month of October, we all know how long it can take to finish a bottle of perfume. Britney Spears Circus Fantasy and FCUK Summer were reviewed here and here . Repurchase? Although they were both decent fragrances, I don't love them enough to buy them again. Burberry "The Beat" perfume sample- I know it was just a sample, but even finishing a sample I find rewarding, it still feels like an achievement. I love perfume samples, I know you can spritz a tester perfume in a store, but I like to try a perfume a few times before making a decision. Plus, in store, I have to try more than one, and either forget which was sprayed where, or they've blended, and I can't make out the individual scents. Repurchase? Yes, I love this perfume! My ...

A sample I had somehow gotten contained a fragrance that really appealed to me, the only problem was that all I had to go by was the brand FCUK. Four perfumes later, and I finally had the one I had lusted over. Thankfully these perfumes are inexpensive and I like them all. I reviewed FCUK Summer here. Friction is described as "Pink honeysuckle, apple blossom, red berries, creamy coconut, spun sugar, vanilla absolute, pink jasmine, white vetiver, blonde woods, sandalwood, amber and magnetic musk." It is fruity, sweet, creamy, juicy, these I like, but I need more, and this perfume delivers. Thanks to the deeper notes, such as musk and sandalwood, the fragrance has more of a deeper and grounded grown-up side to it. It makes me imagine sipping pina coladas on the beach, now wouldn't that be nice?? The perfume dries down to a soft scent that is close to the skin and quite delicate, warm and comforting. Ever since I have dabbled in store bought perfumes, I've been building my collection with affordable perfumes. Generally buying from Chemist Warehouse and Priceline. Please don't judge me!  Speaking of affordable, for review today, I have FCUK Summer. After having a FCUK sample that was unlabelled, I started buying a few fragrances from this brand. Thankfully, I paid only around $15 for each. I finally did find it, but it wasn't this one, that will be for a future review. What I am relieved about is that I really like the 4 FCUK perfumes that I own. Summer is described as- " FCUK Summer Her  by  FCUK  is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women.  FCUK Summer Her  was launched in 2011. Top notes are red apple and mango; middle notes are freesia, magnolia and mimose; base notes are musk, patchouli and amber. " Summer is the perfect name for this perfume.
