The Malibu palette is one of the first purchases I made through BH Cosmetics, yep many years ago. I was really drawn to the cute packaging. It's actually a very small palette that is no bigger than my hand. As you can see, opening the palette reveals shadows and face products. I'll show you some swatches. Most of the eye shadows swatched dismally. I had high hopes for the bright shades to be pigmented, but most were patchy and even swatching with my finger more than once did not produce much colour, sadly. The face powders were marginally better, but the shades didn't excite me because they just didn't suit my skintone. Fortunately I was able to create some looks that I was happy with, but the shadows were hard work and not the easiest to apply. I'll show you what I created. I really didn't like this palette and I was happy to be done with it. I certainly will not be keeping the palette.

Back in February I showed you the original Foil Eyes palette. I really love the palette and when the Foil Eyes 2 palette was released I had to have it! Of course, now there's a Tropicana version which I'm sure I'll end up buying also. Taken from BH Cosmetics- "This must-have second edition features more vivid jewel tones, richer neutrals and more icy options- all with the same buttery feel and molten metal finish." This palette gives me another collection of 28 gorgeous metallic shades. I love vibrant pops of colour for lids, especially foiled and this palette certainly provides that. I'll go right ahead and show you some swatches. I must say that the 4th row is not my favourite, not because of poor quality, but I'm not a fan of silvers and greys. The rest, however. I have been on such a huge liquid lipstick kick lately, and when I say lately I mean the last 12 or so months! Lol. My latest additions are from BH Cosmetics. I restrained myself by only purchasing 4. I bought 2 of each regular matte and metallic finishes. Taken from BH Cosmetics the Mattes  and Metallics - "Put more pow in your pout with our BH Liquid Lipstick, a luscious long lasting full coverage formula that goes on wet and dries to a soft matte finish that won't smudge, budge or transfer." The lipsticks come in a round tube with typical doe foot applicator. I can't seem to detect any fragrance. The lipsticks have a creamy consistency. They apply smoothly to the lips. Once dry you can barely feel them. They are pretty much transfer proof, I do notice the slight traces on my coffee cup, but doing a "kiss" test on my hand didn't reveal any product at all. When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
