I have many Possets perfumes that I love. There's quite a few that I still want to try, but really need you get through the samples that I already own. Today I have Silver Carnations for review.    Description -" ...stays true from the first moment until the last. The "silver" part that you love combined with the spice and carnation that you wanted".  Although, there is the cool element of silver, being a carnation blend brings the creamy, spicy, almost cinnamon note. Part warmth, with a cool edge, they should be at odds, but It's quite the opposite.  The blend is so smooth, with the slightest of food edge. It reminds me a little of chai tea. Except this fragrance emanates such a feminine touch. Such a delight to wear thanks to its uniqueness. 

Isn't it funny to be so obsessed with rubbish? I just love empties posts! I enjoy writing them, as well as reading them. As I say goodbye to Feb, I can say good bye to a fairly good chunk of empty packaging (mostly). Skinn Collagenesis ABC Triple Action Peel - Having 4 "syringes" of product in this pack, meant that I only had a month's worth to use. The double barreled packaging was needed to ensure the 2 formulas to be separated, only mixed upon application. I must say that I was not excited by the results, I had high hopes for this peel. I used one application for face and neck, only to discover after watching a demo on TVSN, that it is actually required to use one product for only the face to ensure maximum results. If you want to treat the neck, another one is required. Repurchase? No, I think it's too pricey, especially if I want to treat my neck, I'd only get 2 weeks of use out of each packet.  Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Hand Treatment- L...

Described as "A tremendously alluring blend, more the kind of lover you want but could never catch. 6 musks blended together in a way which is frosting for the heart and soul. Primal and honey with a hint of cake, yet thoroughly modern and slinky." This a grown up foody perfume. The musk notes cut through the sweetness, preventing the scent from being too cloying, but only just.  A touch earthy floral, a touch creamy honey and sweet, sweet, sweet. Sweet-tooths rejoice, musk lovers be excited, this perfume is sure to appeal to you! Me? I'm not a huge fan of overly musky fragrances. I do like the powdering down stage of this perfume...but, it's another I don't NEED a full size of. With the amount of perfume oils I have, that's a good thing! :)

Another month, another empties post, and have I got a lot of empties! Are you in the mood for some reading? If so, grab yourself a cuppa, you might need it ;) Cutex nail polish remover- Being an avid nail polish wearer, remover is a must. On the other hand, the brand is not that important to me. Remove my polish, and I'm happy :) Repurchase? Most likely. I generally buy whatever is cheapest. TN Dickinson's Witch Hazel - A friend of mine who suffers rosacea recommended this toner to me. I figured if she could use it on her sensitive skin, I needed to try it for myself.  Repurchase? That's a hard one. Yes, I was happy using this toner, but at the moment I am using another product that I love. So, I wouldn't rule it out, but I'm not in a hurry to replace it. Skin B5 Skin Purifying Mask - This is a wonderful clay mask. Easy to apply, easy to wash off and no drying, scared-to-move-or-I'll-crack feeling. It cleanses the pores, whilst nourishing the skin. Aaaah, Possets, one of my fave indie perfume oil seller. OMG, they're foodie based fragrances are one of the best I've tried. This brand has a collection called "The Girls Love..." they are all honey based, mixed with other various single notes. " The Girls Love Leather " is described as "The girls have discovered the fun of leather, the smell of leather, the sensuality of leather. Leather and honey. Wow. Just wow. This is not just any old leather, this is the superb stuff which you find in the church shops of Florence, dripping with honey from Malta. Just the apex of the apiary. Yummmmm. I find leather is a sexy note, but often being on the more masculine side for me to be the wearer.  The warm, sticky, sweet, sweet honey certainly makes it more wearable, but I still wouldn't class this one as a feminine scent. After trying a couple of Possets  samples that I had been lucky enough to have received from a friend, I knew a purchase was a must. Owner and creator, Fabienne Christenson truly is a master when it comes to gourmand type perfumes. Although delicious, these perfumes are not synthetic or tacky smelling, like some perfumes can be. There are also perfumes that cater to those who are not partial to foody scents..there are people like that apparently, LOL! Possests has a medievil theme throughout, I really like the themed labels. I took the opportunity of a birthday to place an order. I ordered early, making sure that my items would reach me in time, they came promptly for international delivery. They were packaged well, with no leakages. I was surprised at the amount of samples sent as GWP. Boy did my nose go into over drive, lol. The following are Possets perfumes that I have tried. Recently I was due to have my blonde highlights redone. I decided that I'd go for some extra colour, and instead of having the cropped fringe, I'd try having a side fringe for something different. I'm loving my side fringe, it's easier to maintain than the cropped one, and I think the colour gives it definite "oomph" :)  (Uh, excuse the lack of foundation here :/) While I'm posting, I wanted to add a couple of pics of my awesome Christmas presents. Starting with my Bluesky Kit. This is a cheap version of Shellac. I became obsessed with Shellac after a mani I had. I loved just how shiny and how long it lasted without any chips. I decided that I wanted to try applying the soak-off-gel mani myself, but because the actual Shellac brand is so pricey, I went for a cheaper brand.
