With all the warm toned palettes I own, one would think that I would not feel the need to buy more. Wrong! I don't need more, but I recently caved into an impulse buy. My hubby had gone on a trip with his motorbike mates to Tasmania, so I felt like treating myself, too. I was quick to order the Lime Crime Venus XL eye shadow palette. The packaging of this palette is gorgeous. Although this is a warm toned palette, it is based more on pinks, deep reds and purples, rather than reds, oranges and warm toned browns that I have been gravitating to (and still adore). This palette also includes some neutrals which are great to complete an eye look. I'll show you some swatches. I love how well the eye shadows swatch, especially that rich red shade of the first eye shadow in the second row, stunning! It's been so long since I've done a FOTD post. I thought what better opportunity to do one than feature my only Lime Crime Unicorn lipstick. I have the shade Varsity.  The packaging of the Unicorn lipsticks is gorgeous! I just love the mauve tube with holographic chrome. One side we have the Lime Crime logo, the other a unicorn. The lipstick is a muted rusty brown shade. It's a lovely creamy formula, that's moisturising on the lips, but not too slippery as to slide every where. It's nicely pigmented and I find it very easy to wear. I know that the brand Lime Crime has in the past been in the spotlight for all the bad reasons, but I had secretly been wanting to try their lip products, especially the Velvetines. I figured now enough time had passed that I really can't even remember why so many people had boycotted this brand in the first place. When there was a sale for Valentine's Day, I was all over the Dreamgirl Bundle . It contains 3 lip products. I took a chance, I placed an order and my products arrived in good shape, yes! How gorgeous is the box that the lipsticks come in! The set contains 2 Velvetine liquid lipsticks and one Diamond Crusher lip topper.
