Sukin Nutrient Rich Facial Moisturiser- A natural moisturiser with some lovely anti-aging ingredients. Quite light and fast absorbing, so great for a day moisturiser. Repurchase? I have some other moisturisers to get through before buying anymore at this stage. Swisse Kakadu Plum Brightening Serum- A light weight serum that delivers radiance to the skin. Repurchase? I am currently using my 2nd bottle and probably would repurchase, but it's no longer available, sadly. In my latest Project Pan update I was able to finish 3 products. Because I had to add some other products, I thought I would show you a makeup look using Project Pan and Pan That Palette items. So, the products I used that are in my pan are as follows. Well, July is over which means here in Australia we are 2/3rds of the way through Winter. It can't be over quick enough for me, lol! This month I have more decluttered products than actual empties! I'll still be showing you the empties first. Skinn Enriched Softening Essence - This is a hydrating toning product. Instead of a cotton pad, I preferred to pat onto my skin after pouring a small amount into my hands, so that I get more product on my face. Repurchase? Yes! I love this stuff! Skinn Hylighten - This is an under eye roll-on for dark circles, which I certainly have. Repurchase? I didn't notice any improvement. I have used it in the past, but received it again in a value pack. I wouldn't buy it on its own. Skinn Hydro-Vital Eye Cream - The Hydro-Vital range is formulated to give maximum hydration to the skin. I don't have overly dry skin, but my under eye area is quite dehydrated. Repurchase? I have been showing you progress of my Project Pan and Pan That Palette and it occurred to me that I should show you a makeup look using the products. Models Prefer Infinite Colour Foundation- I bought this months ago, it was 50% off, so figured why not. It's too light on my skin. I find it can get a little streaky when applying with a brush but does apply well with a sponge. It's a nice medium coverage foundation, not bad, but doesn't wow me. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold- I love these cream shadows, especially when using as a base for powder eye shadows. The gold colour has been working well with the olive and brown tones I have been using on my lid. LA Girl Endless Liner in Black- I love that this liner is retractable and is nice and black. What I don't like is it seems to be a drier formula, so it takes some work to apply. I'll be glad when I'm finished this liner. Ok, so one month of Winter is now over...2 more to go. But, with how quick the year is going, the warm weather will be here before we know it! For those of us in the Southern Hemisphere, that is. Anyway I'm going to show you what I finished in June Not a whole lot of empties, but there's products finished none-the-less.  Skinn DermAppeal- One of my favourite products from the Skinn brand. It is a physical exfoliant that is quite abrasive which I like because it really smooths the skin. Repurchase? Of course I have a back-up! Skinn Hydro-Vital Serum - This dual-chambered serum is so hydrating. It's lightweight and feels silky smooth on the skin. Repurchase? I really prefer actives in my serum as I think a decent regular moisturiser can give me adequate hydration. It's a nice product, but I don't feel the need to purchase it again. It's been so long since I've done a FOTD post. I thought what better opportunity to do one than feature my only Lime Crime Unicorn lipstick. I have the shade Varsity.  The packaging of the Unicorn lipsticks is gorgeous! I just love the mauve tube with holographic chrome. One side we have the Lime Crime logo, the other a unicorn. The lipstick is a muted rusty brown shade. It's a lovely creamy formula, that's moisturising on the lips, but not too slippery as to slide every where. It's nicely pigmented and I find it very easy to wear. Today I have some trash to show you! That's certainly a charming way to introduce a blog post. But, hey we all know that crazily another month has passed us by, and I am here to show you the products that I finished in April. Another month, another handful of products. Skinn AM Cleanser - I finally finished off the last of these gel cleansers, I had been buying back ups and there were quite a few in my skincare stash. I made the process of finishing this product quicker by also using it to clean my makeup sponges. Repurchase? I enjoyed this Skinn cleanser, but am switching to only using creamy cleansers. Skinn PM Cleanser - A lovely creamy cleanser that doubles as a deep cleansing mask. Repurchase? At this stage I still have 2 more that I am happy to use. Acure Day Cream - I bought this day moisturiser from iHerb. Packed with goodies and none of the nasties, I had to try it. Repurchase? I have been a bit slack on the themed makeup front. I had some spare time yesterday, so decided to just go for it and have some fun with makeup. I didn't go too crazy or creative, I just had a bit of a play.  When I think of Easter, the colours that come to mind are pastel shades. Running with this idea, I decided that the perfect palette to use would be the BH Cosmetics Foil Eyes palette. I generally choose a makeup look based around the shades I want to use on my eyes. With all those beautiful foiled eye shadows to choose from, it wasn't easy deciding on the colours. In the end I chose a silvery pink for my lids, 1st shade in 2nd row. In the crease I used the 3rd colour in the 2nd row, a gorgeous mauve shade. On the lower lashline I used the eye shadow to the right of the mauve with the inner half of the lower lashline being the silvery pink. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in White On- I didn't quite finish this polish. It had thickened and I really didn't there was enough left for me to bother adding a thinner. Repurchase? This white nail polish worked well. Even being opaque enough to use for stamping with. I would consider buying again. Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil- I was given this oil to trial. It worked extremely well as the first cleanse to remove makeup, even stubborn eyeliner. Repurchase? I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an oil cleanser, but I'm not sure I'd buy it. Only because I am content using my olive and coconut oil mix. When it comes to my makeup, there are certain products that I use on a daily basis, well when I am wearing makeup. These include products that I prefer to use first before trying another as I don't like to have more than one open at a time. These products are foundations, concealers, powders and mascaras. I also include products that I am trying to finish and of course, my fave brow pencil. Yep, it's HG status and the only one that I use. To make these every day products more accessible, I store them in a handy basket in the bathroom. Whenever I do my makeup, I just simply remove the basket from a cupboard and place on the bench. The only product that doesn't fit is the 88 palette that I am panning. I just have that palette stored upright beside the basket. Too easy! This year I have been panning (or trying to use up) an eye shadow palette. I was using the 88 Warm palette on a daily basis for eye contouring, so decided I would go for gold and see if I could empty the pans. So far, I've finished 36 pans, removing the pan once it's done which is so satisfying! My goal was to totally finish it, but I'm probably going to bin the palette when I've used the shadows that I enjoy using. I'm not really one to wear greys and silvers, plus there's some colours that don't have enough colour pay off for my liking.
