As we say hello to June, I thought I'd share my May empties with you. Here's my strangely satisfying basket of empty products, so yes, rubbish! NS-8 Heel Balm Complex- A lotion for dry, cracked heels that acted as nourishing as a balm. My favourite way of using this product was to slather my feet at bedtime and cover with socks overnight. The result being super smooth feet. Repurchase? Yes, I would love to get my hands on some more of this! Skinn PM Cleanser - I finished 2 of these cleansers, 1 being full size, the other a travel size. A creamy cleanser that I used day and night because I no longer want to use gel cleansers. Repurchase? I still have another to use. Skinn Hydro-Vital Cream - A rich moisturiser that can be used day and night. Targeted for dry skin. Nice product, but I hate the packaging. I much prefer airless, or even a pump so I'm not dipping my fingers into the product. Repurchase? A fantastic moisturiser to hydrate the skin, b...

After loving the Poni Cosmetics White Knight mascara so much, it was only natural as a makeup addict that I really wanted to try their Pegasus Eye Liner. Taken from Poni Cosmetics - "Pegasus is a black liquid liner. The water resistant formula glides on smoothly and the soft but sharp felt tip ensures for precise application. Give your eyes wings to fly or use it as you would a normal eyeliner! This smudge proof quick drying formula is easy to use and great for both beginners and experts." The eye liner is of typical pen packaging that is black with gold lettering. The felt tip has a thick base that tapers into quite a fine point. There is a metal ball inside the tube so I give it a bit of a shake before each use. The black liner has decent pigmentation. No one wants a watery black liner! It glides effortlessly on the lids. Depending on the pressure used, you can control how thick of a line you desire. Drying time of the product is fairly quick. Th...

Ok, so that time of the month has come around that I get to show you my rubbish. Only the beauty rubbish of course. I got through a few makeup and skincare items and some items that I am binning unfinished. L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation - I don't think I have ever bought a high end foundation. It takes some trial and error to find a good one, but I'm always glad that I'm not paying too much. In saying that, the L'Oreal Infallible foundation is quite expensive at RRP, so I bought it during the Priceline 40% off sale. Repurchase? I am not in need of any foundations at the moment. When I do need a replacement, I really want to try the new Infallible foundation. If I'm not happy with it, I would definitely consider buying this one again. Skinn DermAppeal- I didn't think I would use a physical exfoliator again until I tried the Dermappeal. It is very gritty and is almost like a micro-dermabrasion at home. In this January Favourites post I have some products that were not new to me in the month of January but because it's the first time blogging on faves for a very long time, I thought I'd share. Just a handful of products, but I'm loving them (obviously, lol) ColourPop Ultra Satin in Femme- I recently reviewed the Ultra Satins and I really love this formula. If interested you can check out my review here . Out of the shades I ordered, Femme was the most unique. Sunsense Sensitive Invisible SPF 50+- This sunscreen is fantastic. It is my new favourite. It's a physical SPF that is not greasy and does not cause a white cast like many physical sunscreens I have tried in the past. I will have a review of this SPF next week. Poni White Knight Mascara- I was lucky to have been given this product to trial. It is a tubing mascara that provides length and volume without smudging or flaking. When it comes to my makeup, there are certain products that I use on a daily basis, well when I am wearing makeup. These include products that I prefer to use first before trying another as I don't like to have more than one open at a time. These products are foundations, concealers, powders and mascaras. I also include products that I am trying to finish and of course, my fave brow pencil. Yep, it's HG status and the only one that I use. To make these every day products more accessible, I store them in a handy basket in the bathroom. Whenever I do my makeup, I just simply remove the basket from a cupboard and place on the bench. The only product that doesn't fit is the 88 palette that I am panning. I just have that palette stored upright beside the basket. Too easy! This year I have been panning (or trying to use up) an eye shadow palette. I was using the 88 Warm palette on a daily basis for eye contouring, so decided I would go for gold and see if I could empty the pans. So far, I've finished 36 pans, removing the pan once it's done which is so satisfying! My goal was to totally finish it, but I'm probably going to bin the palette when I've used the shadows that I enjoy using. I'm not really one to wear greys and silvers, plus there's some colours that don't have enough colour pay off for my liking.
