I was so happy that with September the weather would warm up because it meant the arrival of Spring. Nope, didn't really happen where I live, hopefully with October I will see more sunshine! Oh, and of course with a new month it means I get to show you the products I finished. Just a handful of products, really, but I'll quickly run through each item with you. Sunsense Sensitive Invisible 50+ Sunscreen - This sunscreen being zinc based is a physical sunscreen. Thankfully, it isn't a thick product and doesn't give the skin an unwanted white cast like so many often do.  Repurchase? I will repurchase this sunscreen. It has a  high SPF rating, something that is very important here in Australia, plus I  find it works well as a primer under my foundation.  It's Skin Power 10 Formula WH Effector - A light weight serum that is targeted towards those wanting a more even skintone. Well, July is over which means here in Australia we are 2/3rds of the way through Winter. It can't be over quick enough for me, lol! This month I have more decluttered products than actual empties! I'll still be showing you the empties first. Skinn Enriched Softening Essence - This is a hydrating toning product. Instead of a cotton pad, I preferred to pat onto my skin after pouring a small amount into my hands, so that I get more product on my face. Repurchase? Yes! I love this stuff! Skinn Hylighten - This is an under eye roll-on for dark circles, which I certainly have. Repurchase? I didn't notice any improvement. I have used it in the past, but received it again in a value pack. I wouldn't buy it on its own. Skinn Hydro-Vital Eye Cream - The Hydro-Vital range is formulated to give maximum hydration to the skin. I don't have overly dry skin, but my under eye area is quite dehydrated. Repurchase? I have been showing you progress of my Project Pan and Pan That Palette and it occurred to me that I should show you a makeup look using the products. Models Prefer Infinite Colour Foundation- I bought this months ago, it was 50% off, so figured why not. It's too light on my skin. I find it can get a little streaky when applying with a brush but does apply well with a sponge. It's a nice medium coverage foundation, not bad, but doesn't wow me. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold- I love these cream shadows, especially when using as a base for powder eye shadows. The gold colour has been working well with the olive and brown tones I have been using on my lid. LA Girl Endless Liner in Black- I love that this liner is retractable and is nice and black. What I don't like is it seems to be a drier formula, so it takes some work to apply. I'll be glad when I'm finished this liner. It's time once again for me to show you the progress on my rolling Project Pan. Annoyingly, I forgot to take a photo of the 5 products that I was panning in the last update, but I will show you the single photos of the products. The MBA lipstick sample in OCD I had to part ways with. Unfortunately it started smelling funky, so that and the rest of the samples have to go. It makes me realise just how much I need to be more mindful of what I buy and whether I am realistically going to use it, especially cream based makeup items. I was able to finish the W7 Cosmetics Catwalk Concealer.  I love to see pan! I believe I will be finished the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold by the next update. For such an easy to use neutral lip pencil, it certainly is taking me a while to get through. Today I have some trash to show you! That's certainly a charming way to introduce a blog post. But, hey we all know that crazily another month has passed us by, and I am here to show you the products that I finished in April. Another month, another handful of products. Skinn AM Cleanser - I finally finished off the last of these gel cleansers, I had been buying back ups and there were quite a few in my skincare stash. I made the process of finishing this product quicker by also using it to clean my makeup sponges. Repurchase? I enjoyed this Skinn cleanser, but am switching to only using creamy cleansers. Skinn PM Cleanser - A lovely creamy cleanser that doubles as a deep cleansing mask. Repurchase? At this stage I still have 2 more that I am happy to use. Acure Day Cream - I bought this day moisturiser from iHerb. Packed with goodies and none of the nasties, I had to try it. Repurchase? It's a lovely moisturiser that I will be sure to replace when in nee...

I was inspired to create my mani after seeing a tutorial on Facebook. It looked fairly easy and I just loved the finished look. A dotticure, but not just any dotticure, the dots being multi-toned. I'll explain... Once I decided I wanted warm colours on my nails, I needed to begin with a dark base colour. For this I chose Sally Hansen Diamond Strength polish in Save the Date. For the dots I began with a combination of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polish in White On, Models Prefer Nail Color in Trendy and Ulta3 Nail Color in Honolulu. With the smaller end of my chosen dotting tool I slightly mixed the polishes so that the individual colours were still obvious. I then proceeded to place dots on my nails with the swirled polish using the larger end of the dotting tool. I definitely want to try some different colours using this technique!

Having very dark under eye circles, I am always on the lookout for a decent concealer. A few months ago I replenished my concealer collection with a couple of drugstore concealers to try that had been given good reviews. The one I have been using currently is the Priceline's own brand Models Prefer Argan Infusion Concealer.  Taken from Priceline "A highly blendable and long wearing liquid concealer offering buildable coverage. Infused with 100 % Argan oil." As you can see, the concealer comes in a squared tube with doe foot applicator, which is my preferred packaging for this kind of product. The concealer is very creamy in consistency. It applies and blends well on the skin. My preferred way to use this product is to apply with the wand in strokes that resemble a triangle under my eyes, then use a concealer brush to blend out. I get a decent coverage. When it comes to my makeup, there are certain products that I use on a daily basis, well when I am wearing makeup. These include products that I prefer to use first before trying another as I don't like to have more than one open at a time. These products are foundations, concealers, powders and mascaras. I also include products that I am trying to finish and of course, my fave brow pencil. Yep, it's HG status and the only one that I use. To make these every day products more accessible, I store them in a handy basket in the bathroom. Whenever I do my makeup, I just simply remove the basket from a cupboard and place on the bench. The only product that doesn't fit is the 88 palette that I am panning. I just have that palette stored upright beside the basket. Too easy! This year I have been panning (or trying to use up) an eye shadow palette. I was using the 88 Warm palette on a daily basis for eye contouring, so decided I would go for gold and see if I could empty the pans. So far, I've finished 36 pans, removing the pan once it's done which is so satisfying! My goal was to totally finish it, but I'm probably going to bin the palette when I've used the shadows that I enjoy using. I'm not really one to wear greys and silvers, plus there's some colours that don't have enough colour pay off for my liking.
