July Empties
Well, July is over which means here in Australia we are 2/3rds of the way through Winter. It can't be over quick enough for me, lol!
This month I have more decluttered products than actual empties! I'll still be showing you the empties first.
This month I have more decluttered products than actual empties! I'll still be showing you the empties first.
Skinn Enriched Softening Essence- This is a hydrating toning product. Instead of a cotton pad, I preferred to pat onto my skin after pouring a small amount into my hands, so that I get more product on my face.
Repurchase? Yes! I love this stuff!
Skinn Hylighten- This is an under eye roll-on for dark circles, which I certainly have.
Repurchase? I didn't notice any improvement. I have used it in the past, but received it again in a value pack. I wouldn't buy it on its own.
Skinn Hydro-Vital Eye Cream- The Hydro-Vital range is formulated to give maximum hydration to the skin. I don't have overly dry skin, but my under eye area is quite dehydrated.
Repurchase? I loved this cream for plumping my crows feet. I would buy again.
NIOD Sanskrit Saponins- This is a cleansing balm, but not for makeup removal, more of a cleansing mask.
Repurchase? I really liked how this product firmed my skin. It's not a product I need, though, especially for the higher price point of NIOD products.
Sierra Bees Organic Cocoa Butter Lip Balm- I bought this lip balm from IHerb in a pack of 5, I think.
Repurchase? It was really cheap and a nice balm for day use. I like a thicker balm at night. I would buy again, but I have a few others to finish first.
Re EGF Repair Serum- This is a serum that has the feel of a facial oil, but absorbs quickly. It is formulated to encourage cell renewal.
Repurchase? I'm not sure where to even buy this serum, I bought it from an online discount store. It was nice and hydrating, but after using 2 bottles, it didn't do a lot to improve my skin.
Models Prefer Invisible Lip Liner- These liners having no colour means that they can be used with any lip colour. I also like that when I line just outside my natural lip line, my lip lines are less visible, because these liners can act as a primer.
Repurchase? I have a couple of others to use, but I would buy this Models Prefer one again.
I am decluttering the rest of the MBA Cosmetics lipstick samples. Unfortunately I've had them for way too long and being natural, they have gone bad. Such a shame because they are quite good.
I have 2 potted lipstick hybrids from House of Beauty, they are extremely pigmented glosses. These shades are so dark and can get a bit messy during application and wear, so I'm not going to keep persevering with them.
I am getting rid of the YBF Neutralizing Cream. I've been using it to colour correct my dark circles, but because the lid has broken off, the cream compact is getting a bit funky.
Lastly, I am decluttering the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara that I have recently reviewed. It smudges on me, which is a definite deal breaker.
Thanks for reading xx
I haven't heard of the models own invisible lip liner! I might look into it as I did want one x

Decluttering makes me feel so happy. It gives me more space for new products. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeleteI love being able to de-clutter products that I no longer or don't want to use xx
DeleteI haven't heard of that Models Prefer invisible lip liner either! Will have to check it out the next time I'm in Priceline. I have used an invisible liner before & I loved it, but unfortunately it's not available here (bought it during my numerous trips to Sephora in the US last year).

I love that we can get a budget option with the Models Prefer Invisible lip liner. It's definitely worth giving it a go, Shell xx
DeleteWell done on your empties and decluttered products! I definitely want to declutter my makeup collection, I reckon I've got a lot of old stuff that needs binning, too. xx
ReplyDeleteDi from Max The Unicorn
Thank you, Di. I'm sure you'd enjoy getting rid of old/unwanted products xx
