BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway
When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case.
When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
Taken from BH Cosmetics- "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
The palette is a large square with magnet closure and complete with a cardboard sleeve. The palette is so pretty, I love the rose gold writing on the quilted pintuck background design.
Opening the palette reveals not only the eye shadows, but a rather large mirror and the gorgeous marble look packaging with the words Aspire to Inspire under the mirror.

The mattes are lovely and buttery, making them easy to blend. The shimmers are smooth and are nicely pigmented.
The highlighters are beautiful, versatile enough to be a strong highlight or give a soft glow. There are 2 shades that are too dark for my skintone, but they're great as eye shadows won't go to waste.

My favourite eye shadow shade is definitely the golden pink shade, I used it in look 4. It is so vibrant and gorgeous, my photos do not do the eye shadow justice, not even in the swatch.
