The Block Party palette from Juvia's place was a Black Friday purchase, it came heavily discounted in a pack with the Saffron eye shadow palette. I am getting the feeling that it will be Black Friday time again by the time I get through all of the eye shadow palettes that I bought from the last one! I love the look of this palette, the graphics are pretty cool along with the holographic packaging. Opening reveals some very colourful eye shadows. I like myself some colour on the lids, so I was looking forward to "digging in". Here are the swatches. All shades are pigmented, the only one I can't see myself using is the first shade. The matte white is a little chalky, but it's just not a shade that I would reach for anyway. I had fun playing with these shades. I really wanted to try one of my Dawn Eyes Cosmetics Premium loose eye shadows. They are multi-chrome, beautiful and needed to be applied to my lids. So, I took the opportunity to also create a Makeup Mess post. If you read my first Makeup Mess, you'll notice some of the same products, but I did change some things up. I'll begin with eye products. Elf Mad About Matte Eye Shadow Palette- I used 2 of these shadows in my crease, they make fantastic transition shades. Suva Beauty Block Party Eye Shadow Palette- I blended the navy blue shade into my outer "v". Indie brand Suva Beauty has been on my radar for some time, but thanks to a low-buy, I just couldn't justify a purchase of their products. Well, come Black Friday sales and it is a time where I indulge in sales.  I love the packaging, and the name saffron is very fitting for this spicy looking palette. I'm not as obsessed with these warm tones as much, oh I like them still, but I don't feel the need to buy every warm palette I see. I have, however, always been a sucker for foiled shadows and this 9 pan palette offers 6 shimmery shades. I'll show you some swatches. The shadows swatch beautifully and I couldn't wait to apply them to my lids. I did find that the bright red matte isn't as intense in the crease and leans pink when blended, I also found that the brown lost pigment when applied with a fluffy brush, which was a little disappointing, because I like a dark shade in my outer v.  Here are the looks I created with this palette....
