Suva Beauty Saffron Palette

Indie brand Suva Beauty has been on my radar for some time, but thanks to a low-buy, I just couldn't justify a purchase of their products. Well, come Black Friday sales and it is a time where I indulge in sales. 

I love the packaging, and the name saffron is very fitting for this spicy looking palette.


I'm not as obsessed with these warm tones as much, oh I like them still, but I don't feel the need to buy every warm palette I see. I have, however, always been a sucker for foiled shadows and this 9 pan palette offers 6 shimmery shades. I'll show you some swatches.



The shadows swatch beautifully and I couldn't wait to apply them to my lids. I did find that the bright red matte isn't as intense in the crease and leans pink when blended, I also found that the brown lost pigment when applied with a fluffy brush, which was a little disappointing, because I like a dark shade in my outer v.

Although there were 2 shades that didn't perform as I expected, they were still usable and overall, I really enjoyed using the Suva Beauty Saffron eye shadow palette.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
