October Empties
Yeah, so it's "empties" time. Which means another month is done and dusted. I am always surprised how quick these posts seem to come around. It's dizzying just how quick this year is flying!
Dove Beauty Cream Bar- This is my cleanser of choice for my makeup brushes. I just wet the brush, swirl in the soap, rinse, repeat if needed.
Repurchase? Yes!
YBF Universal Brow Pencil- This brow pencil is so easy to use. Pencil one end, spoolie the other. Not having to worry about colour choice is very handy.
Repurchase? I have a back-up and will totally buy again.
Retinol Reface- I found this to be a very gentle retinol product. I didn't find that I needed to start slowly to get my skin used to it.
Repurchase? Good product, I think it would take more than than one tube to achieve noticeable changes. I would consider buying again in future.
Lacura Mineral Clay Mask- A decent clay mask that cleans the skin, leaving it feeling soft. I do only leave it on for around 10 minutes because I do find that it is very tight when dry.
Repurchase? Even though I haven't seen it in store again, I don't think I'd repurchase again, only because I'm looking for more hydrating types of masks.
Perfume samples
CK Sheer, Armani Code Luna, Kim Kardashian Glam, Beyonce Rise. I don't feel the need for full sizes of these.
I got through a handy amount of products, it's going to feel good binning these empties!
MasqueOlogy Brightening cloth masks- I enjoy how moisturising these masks are, and I find cloth masks so easy. No applying or needing to rinse off.
Repurchase? I liked them, but don't feel the need to seek them out.
Ciencia8 Cleanse8 Gel- This is a wonderful cleanser. Although, it's a gel, it doesn't strip the skin like some foaming cleansers can.
Repurchase? I would but it's too pricey, especially when I can spend a lot less for decent products that do just as good a job.
Skinn Dermalift Neck and Decollete Serum- This is the first cream I have used to target the neck area specifically. Very nice and moisturising.
Repurchase? I would definitely use it again, but don't feel that it is a must have item for me when I have great creams that are suitable for face and neck.
RawSkinCeuticals RegenC Eye Cream- This eye cream was rich, but not too much for day wear. My skin seemed to absorb it.
Repurchase? I am currently using a different one, but I would buy this one again.
Silk Naturals HD Cream Foundation- This is the first stick foundation that I have used. I really liked the consistency. Medium coverage, dewy but not oily.
Repurchase? I have a very long wishlist, but think this foundation is worth buying again.
Australis Curved Ink Eyeliner- The liner was decent, not the blackest, but did the job. I did find the curved shape took some getting used to.
Repurchase? I don't feel the need to replace.
Love Potion Magickal Potion samples. I was naughty buying some perfume oils, but these aren't your average perfumes. Some on offer contain Pheromones, Copulins even both, as well as unenhanced oils. Included in my order were some free samples, 6 from the Totem range. I don't need full sized bottles of these, but enjoyed trying them. In future I will review the perfumes once I've tested them further.
Dove Beauty Cream Bar- This is my cleanser of choice for my makeup brushes. I just wet the brush, swirl in the soap, rinse, repeat if needed.

Trilogy Cream Cleanser- It's a shame that I've had this cleanser sitting in my cupboard too long. When I went to use it, the cleanser felt lovely, but smelled funky.
The cream eye shadow samples from Performance Colors are drying up, so time to go.
Are you happy with the amount of products you finished in the month of October?
I've included this post in Ingrid's beauty link-up over at Fabulous and Fun Life.
That's a decent amount of empties, well done! I might try and keep track of mine this month, I've been very slack with finished products lately.

ReplyDeleteLol, if only a house clean-up was included in the price! I really like the range, yeah but that price.. My pleasure regarding the post. You've inspired me to de-clutter and that's a great thing xx
