So it's now 2016 folks, yeah, I can't really believe it, either.... I finished the last month of the year with a nice amount of products used up. Thursday Plantation Macadamia Oil - I was able to use this product, thanks to a giveaway on beauty website, Beauty Heaven. It wasn't too heavy for my face, being quite nice as a replacement night moisturiser. About half-way through the bottle, I had purchased a facial oil, so instead used this as an overnight hair treatment, which the oil was great for my dry, damaged hair. Repurchase? I would consider another bottle. Dermalogica SkinPerfect Primer - I really enjoyed using this makeup primer. It had a silicone feel, so was like silk when applying to the face. Filling in pores and fine lines, whilst helping my foundation of choice to last longer. Repurchase? Thanks to the lovely Kat from Kats Colourings , I was lucky enough to win some lovely goodies, including the Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil in "Fuchsia Desire". Of course, being a beautiful hot pink, it was destined to be worn on my lips. Applies like a dream, feels comfortable. And. That. Pink!

I'm sure you've heard of the Dermalogica brand. Popular for good reason as it is such a leader in skincare. What I wasn't aware of is that this much loved brand carried an anti-ageing primer. I was lucky to win this in a prize pack, but have only just gotten around to using it. From the Dermalogica website - " Smooth away fine lines, brighten and prime for flawless skin and to prep for makeup application. Velvety silicones create an instantly smooth surface. Pearl powder and natural earth minerals provide a neutral tint to help balance tone and enhance luminosity. The primer is packaged in a rather slim tube, containing 22 mL of product. Unscrewing the lid reveals the small nozzle which gives control of the amount of primer squeezed through. Thick in consistency....

As the title suggests, this is all my favourite things. I'm concentrating on makeup here, otherwise this would take a loooong time. Although, I have many products I adore, I just wanted to create one makeup look. This was not an easy thing to do! I'll list all the makeup products that I used to create this look. Silk Naturals HD Peach Concealer - Fantastic at colour correcting my under-eye circles. Because my May Favourites post was my first ever of this kind, I had quite a few products to show you. In an effort to not be too repetitive with my most loved products, I'll try not to mention the same faves, well not in every post, lol. Models Prefer Professional Precision Foundation Brush   Wow that's a mouthful! I use makeup brushes on a daily basis. I have a decent amount. To me they are a necessity, I don't generally get excited about them. Out of all the brushes I've used, this one is my favourite. It only has one purpose in my makeup routine, and that's to blend out my under eye concealer. This brush is the perfect shape and density. I can get into the corner of my under eyes with the tapered tip. Blending is a breeze, no streaks.
