I really wanted to try one of my Dawn Eyes Cosmetics Premium loose eye shadows. They are multi-chrome, beautiful and needed to be applied to my lids. So, I took the opportunity to also create a Makeup Mess post. If you read my first Makeup Mess, you'll notice some of the same products, but I did change some things up. I'll begin with eye products. Elf Mad About Matte Eye Shadow Palette- I used 2 of these shadows in my crease, they make fantastic transition shades. Suva Beauty Block Party Eye Shadow Palette- I blended the navy blue shade into my outer "v". I had good intentions to create Halloween makeup and nail looks, but life has gotten in the way, so I created some easy nail art. I began with a grey base coat. I used Essence nail polish The Dawn Has Broken. I then used a sponge to dab on some black then white nail polish. I was going for an old headstone look. To add a little creepy factor, I used Mirenesse nail polish in Burlesque, a red shade, to replicate dripping blood. Hmmm, not overly Halloween-y, but I had fun creating it.

I have been a bit slack on the themed makeup front. I had some spare time yesterday, so decided to just go for it and have some fun with makeup. I didn't go too crazy or creative, I just had a bit of a play.  When I think of Easter, the colours that come to mind are pastel shades. Running with this idea, I decided that the perfect palette to use would be the BH Cosmetics Foil Eyes palette. I generally choose a makeup look based around the shades I want to use on my eyes. With all those beautiful foiled eye shadows to choose from, it wasn't easy deciding on the colours. In the end I chose a silvery pink for my lids, 1st shade in 2nd row. In the crease I used the 3rd colour in the 2nd row, a gorgeous mauve shade. On the lower lashline I used the eye shadow to the right of the mauve with the inner half of the lower lashline being the silvery pink. I've had some new things to play with in November. Some of these made it into the month's favourite products. Mostly skincare loves in November. Skinn AM and PM cleansers- I won't delve into these products in too much detail, as I plan on reviewing them separately. I've enjoyed using them so much that they are my most favourite products of the month. Cleansers don't wow me that often. But, my skin has been loving these 2 products. They are awesome, and since buying I have bought back-ups. I don't want to be without these cleansers!       Designer Brands CC Cream- I had not been using this product in the whole month of November, but after the first application, I adored it! It has very little coverage, but it makes my skin look dewy and fresh so my imperfections aren't front and centre, like they are without makeup. I need to review this CC cream for ya'll.  I've actually had this Essence nail polish for some time. I bought it during my obsession with textured and glitter polishes. The Sugar range had me intrigued and I went with "Blue Jeaned", yep I stopped at one, yay me! Navy blue with a cool stone washed effect with the silver shimmer. I was surprised that this wasn't a textured nail polish. It's not to say that I don't like it, but was expecting a different finish with the "Sugar" label. Mind you, I think it's still a nice shade, and with the combination of silver shimmer throughout, it is different to any other nail polish that I own. Have a wonderful Sunday!

How do you dress up a gloomy colour like grey? Well, with some sparkle of course!  "Multi-Faceted" is a clear polish full of multi coloured glitter, that look like little gem stones.
