After not doing an empties post for so long, I had to get back into the somewhat weird habit of keeping my empty products. Hence why I neglected the December installment, oops! I was able to finish a handy bundle of products, mostly skincare, of course. Skinn Wrinkle Soak- This mask is very hydrating. It smells divine, a sweet watermelon fragrance. It is also cooling on the skin which is nice in this warm weather. Repurchase? It's a nice mask. I would be happy to use it again, but I don't feel the need to seek this mask out. Garnier BB Cream for Combination to Oily Skin - I love how convenient BB Creams are. I like the evening of skintone I can achieve, giving me a hint of coverage whilst providing a radiant finish. The Garnier BB Cream for Combo skin is a fave of mine because it isn't too thick like some I have used and provides a decent amount of coverage for a BB Cream. Repurchase? I was in the mood for a dark colour. Oh, I could have gone with a black, but I still wanted just a hint of colour. That's what I got with "Jafar". It's a polish from FOA Dark Side nail range. I picked it up for, wait for around $2 on sale at Priceline. Crazy not to buy it. huh? A blackened burgundy shade. Not a unique colour by any means, but I just could not walk past a cheap such nail polish!

I love trying new designs on my nails. I've found that there is so much inspiration on many social media platforms, in particular Instagram for me lately. That's how I come across the blobicure. Sounds weird, but is actually fun and very simple. I wanted a white base, so used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "White On". This white is great for nail art, because of it having an opaque finish. For the blobs I wanted a textured polish, choosing FOA Carnvale nail enamel in "Between the Flags". I began by applying one coat of "White On" to all of my nails. Then working on one nail at a time I applied another coat, this time a little thicker. While wet, I dabbed on dots of "Between the Flags", just with the nail polish brush, as I did not want even circles. Yes, I wanted blobs, lol. A sale is hard to resist at the best of times, but when it's a whopping 40% off cosmetics at Priceline, I end up with more products added to my collection. Nail polish is the last thing I need, but at such a reduced price, I couldn't go past the already budget friendly FOA lacquers from the Dark Side collection. "Magneto" is a polish with a metallic finish. Not just any metallicc polish, but duo chrome. Shifting from slate to purple and green. Gorgeous! "Darth Vader" is black and purple glitter pieces suspended in a clear base. Unique to anything that I have in my nail polish stash. Believe me when I say that this nail polish looks MUCH better IRL. No matter what I did, I couldn't seem to catch any of the colours, apart from the grey! I hope you enjoy your Sunday :)
