Well, July is over which means here in Australia we are 2/3rds of the way through Winter. It can't be over quick enough for me, lol! This month I have more decluttered products than actual empties! I'll still be showing you the empties first. Skinn Enriched Softening Essence - This is a hydrating toning product. Instead of a cotton pad, I preferred to pat onto my skin after pouring a small amount into my hands, so that I get more product on my face. Repurchase? Yes! I love this stuff! Skinn Hylighten - This is an under eye roll-on for dark circles, which I certainly have. Repurchase? I didn't notice any improvement. I have used it in the past, but received it again in a value pack. I wouldn't buy it on its own. Skinn Hydro-Vital Eye Cream - The Hydro-Vital range is formulated to give maximum hydration to the skin. I don't have overly dry skin, but my under eye area is quite dehydrated. Repurchase? I can't believe I'm only reviewing the NIOD Sanskrit Saponins now. I bought it during the Deciem Black Friday Sale, but have only just gotten around to trying it. Only half a year has passed since buying it! To be fair, I've had so many products to use up in my skincare stash that I had to let this product collect dust for a bit before being able to reach for it. Taken from NIOD - "...SS is a cleansing balm that concentrates Ayurvedic saponins. They're unrefined and messy. They borrow their colour and smell from a place far away from today's madding crowd of refinement. But their near-perfect equilibrium between deep cleansing and respecting skin integrity is evidence that -somehow, somewhere- they connected to mankind." As we say hello to June, I thought I'd share my May empties with you. Here's my strangely satisfying basket of empty products, so yes, rubbish! NS-8 Heel Balm Complex- A lotion for dry, cracked heels that acted as nourishing as a balm. My favourite way of using this product was to slather my feet at bedtime and cover with socks overnight. The result being super smooth feet. Repurchase? Yes, I would love to get my hands on some more of this! Skinn PM Cleanser - I finished 2 of these cleansers, 1 being full size, the other a travel size. A creamy cleanser that I used day and night because I no longer want to use gel cleansers. Repurchase? I still have another to use. Skinn Hydro-Vital Cream - A rich moisturiser that can be used day and night. Targeted for dry skin. Nice product, but I hate the packaging. I much prefer airless, or even a pump so I'm not dipping my fingers into the product. Repurchase? A fantastic moisturiser to hydrate the skin, b...

Today I have some trash to show you! That's certainly a charming way to introduce a blog post. But, hey we all know that crazily another month has passed us by, and I am here to show you the products that I finished in April. Another month, another handful of products. Skinn AM Cleanser - I finally finished off the last of these gel cleansers, I had been buying back ups and there were quite a few in my skincare stash. I made the process of finishing this product quicker by also using it to clean my makeup sponges. Repurchase? I enjoyed this Skinn cleanser, but am switching to only using creamy cleansers. Skinn PM Cleanser - A lovely creamy cleanser that doubles as a deep cleansing mask. Repurchase? At this stage I still have 2 more that I am happy to use. Acure Day Cream - I bought this day moisturiser from iHerb. Packed with goodies and none of the nasties, I had to try it. Repurchase? I have had the NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Serum and Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex waiting to be used for a couple of months. The issue I had was that they are not recommended to use in conjunction with an acid based cleanser. Of course my morning cleanser at the time was the Skinn AM Cleanser which is an exfoliating cleanser using AHAs. I could have started using the serums just at night, but in an effort to use up all the AM cleansers (let's just say I had a few back-ups) I decided to just use this cleanser exclusively morning and night.  To keep the serums fresh over Summer, I stored them in the fridge and felt like they were taunting me every time I opened that fridge door! During last year's Black Friday sales Deciem had a sale that I just couldn't resist. I actually didn't go too crazy as I'm pretty stocked up on skincare and don't like having too many products waiting to be used. The NIOD Flavanone Mud was in a pack that I bought. Taken from Deciem - "Myrrh Clay is a treatment masque that visibly firms the skin, borrowing from a triangle of Ayurvedic, Unani and traditional Chinese studies of medicine.
