Concrete Minerals

Image
It has taken me a while to finally get to playing with an order that I'd purchased from Concrete Minerals some time ago. I have a box that I place all my indie purchases. I play with them in order, for each review..It's almost an OCD thing, it MUST be in order, lol. The only problem is, when I've been busy, thus being slow to write up blog posts, I don't get to delve into my lovely products for some time. When I finally got to the Concrete Minerals order containing the Sugar and Spice kit, I couldn't wait to try it all out! I just love the cute tin! This collection contains the following products: BRAT: Fuchsia. WICKED: Deep lavender shimmer. ROCKED: Iridescent orange sherbet shimmer. LOLITA: Olive.taupe shimmer. SEXY LIPS LIP TINT in TEASE: Hot pink with violet undertones. Also in my order: STROBELIGHT : Silvery blue. BLITZKRIEG :  Shimmery bronze brown. The eye shadows come in a large jar, 1

Australia Day Nails

Image
With Australia Day approaching, I wanted to try a fun, yet simple nail look. I had so many ideas, but finally decided on this design This is what I used: I began with my much loved Orly Bonder. Never being one to find this step important, I now find this base coat invaluable to the longevity of my nail polish. I am rough on my nails. The saying "Nails are not tools" certainly doesn't apply to me! :/  The sticky base seems to bond the polish to my nails. I have tried Creative Sitcky Base, but Orly Bonder works so much better for me! I don't have many green nail polishes, especially a brighter green, it's just not a colour that I feel the need to reach for. Just as I was about to settle with a dark green, I stumbled across Sally Hansen Xtreme Hard Wear Nails in Ivy League. I don't actually remember purchasing this polish, but I'm so glad that I did :) Next was the yellow star design. I have had some cheap nail art polishes that I purchased fr

Opulent Alchemy

Image
Whenever curiosity gets the better of me when it comes to regular store bought perfumes, I head to Etsy store, Opulent Alchemy . This online store offers a huge collection of perfume oil dupes, ranging from celebrity to designer perfumes, and even cult classics. This is my second order from Opulent Alchemy, and I doubt that it will be my last. I love the cute packaging. The perfume oils come in roller ball bottles, which are so easy for application, and least messy. I used the perfume descriptions from Opulent Alchemy's blog. I cannot compare to the originals, as I have not sniffed any of the originals of the dupes that I bought. Michael Kors: * Tuberose reinvented. Creamy florals explode into exotic spices, tamed by smokey Moroccan incense. A fragrant creation with a wealth of personality that will capture the heart of every woman. Fragrance Notes of Dewy Freesia, Tamarind, Chinese Osmanthus, Incense, Fresh Tuberose, White Wings Peony, Blue Orris, Arum Lilies, Cashmer

To Repurchase or not to Repurchase- Elucent Serum.

I was given the opportunity to trial the Elucent range, thanks to Vibe Village. I had never heard of this brand before, but I have heard of the Australian company Ego, a well known brand that Elucent had been developed. This anti-ageing serum contains goodies such as, Vitamins B3, C and E. The active component of AHAs provides an effective chemical exfoliant. This aids to rid skin of dead cells, which cause such ageing effects like wrinkles. The concentration of AHA is 16 %, so a patch test is recommended, especially so for those with sensitive skin. The serum comes in a 30ml tube. Product is easily dispensed through a small nozzle, ensuring better control of this transparent gel  formula. A little goes a long way. Being a gel formula, it glides easily over the skin. I did find my skin felt a little tacky after initial application. However, after a short period of time, my skin absorbed the product, leaving my face and neck feeling soft and silky smooth. I was also surprised a
