I couldn't let Halloween go by without creating a fitting theme for Come Play With Me. I chose to include a spooky face and also Halloween themed nails. It's been a while since I have gone crazy with makeup and had some fun doing it. I'll begin with the face. I wanted to try and create a ventriloquist doll look. I find them very creepy, so yay! Great for Halloween! I received the Stargazer pressed powder in an Ozsale order, I didn't buy it, but decided to keep it. White powder can be handy for Halloween, lol. I used this for my face base, it was terrible and patchy, so I added some LA Girl white eye primer and blended that out. My white base was far from even, it wasn't the most fun part of creating the look. My eyes were very easy. I used a light neutral shade for my lid, then deepened the crease with a dark brown, and just blended it out. I used NYX Jumbo liner in "Milk" to line a thick white lower water line. As the title suggests, this is all my favourite things. I'm concentrating on makeup here, otherwise this would take a loooong time. Although, I have many products I adore, I just wanted to create one makeup look. This was not an easy thing to do! I'll list all the makeup products that I used to create this look. "Come Play With Me" is a fun way to interact with fellow bloggers who love creating makeup/nail looks. I love checking out other's creations just as much as I love diving into my own stash to try my hand at interpreting a selected theme. Yes, I still love playing "dress ups"! Lol. Seeing that we still have a couple of weeks left of Spring, I decided on a flower theme for this installment of "Come Play With Me".   My favourite flowers would have to be sunflowers. There are so many beautiful exotic flowers, but I just love the simplicity of a this golden flower. The yellow colour is an obvious reminder of the sunshine, and the happiness it makes me feel.  Yellow is not a colour I'd reach for normally to put on my lids. Having Gemma join the Come Play With Me series once again had me very excited (we'd missed you, hun!) Her chosen theme, Futuristic Love  had me scratching my head for ideas. I loved Gemma's idea of makeup trends in the future being simple and quick, such as stick on creations. Great idea! Me? For a while I had nothing. Finally, it occurred to me that when I think of the future I think of bold metallic looks when it comes to makeup trends. So my next job was to rummage through my collection for various metallic options. I just love rediscovering beauty products!    Oh, and apparently tiger skin dressing gowns are going to be huge in the future, too ... ;) Monique's futuristic look is actually totally wearable, I love it!
