Come Play With Me Link Up Party- The Spooky Edition

Well I couldn't let October go by without having a little Halloween fun. Of course, I don't want to do this alone, so please join in "The Spooky Edition" beauty link up party.

 Share with me a face look, nail look, eye look, etc. It doesn't have to be over-the-top like mine, maybe you want to incorporate some Halloween colours into everyday makeup or nail looks.

 There's only a couple of rules to be a part of this beauty based link-up

3. Have fun!

There's no right or wrong way of creating these posts, I just want to see your interpretation.

    I enjoyed linking up! It's a fun party!
    I'll see how I go, my son had surgery yesterday so he's a bit clingy, and I'm enjoying laying on the couch watching movies with him lol

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
