Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in "Pink Fever"
In my haste to build my makeup collection, I now often miss out on new products because I just have too much. This is especially the case for blushes. I rarely buy them anymore, in fact the last time was during the Black Friday sales back in November!
Thanks to fellow beauty blogger and friend, Kat, I was lucky enough to win one of her amazing giveaways. Included was the Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick. A blush that I was certainly interested in trying, but resisted temptation to buy one.
Taken from the Maybelline website- "Liquid shimmer pearls create a dewy and glistening glaze on the cheeks. Shea butter glides onto the skin for a smooth, even application."
I'm always cautious when applying a cream blush, especially one as vibrant as "Pink Fever". I found that dabbing a powder brush into the cream, then applying to my cheeks gave me better control of the product. Plus the blush blends very nicely, so no clown cheeks, unless that's a look you are going for.
As you can see, I was able to create just a flush of colour. My preferred blush finish.
Are you a wearer of cream blush?

Round twist-up tube packaging.
"Pink Fever" is a pretty candy pink shade.

Looks beautiful Michelle! The coral colour in this line would look amazing on you too!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, lovely. I don't need more enabling, lol! xx
DeleteGolly you're so clever Indie - I would never have thought to use a brush to apply a cream blush! Love how you've made it work for you, and so beautifully too ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm just so heavy handed with my fingers that I look ridiculous. I find using a brush makes me less likely to overdo it. Thanks again for your generous giveaways xx
DeleteThat's a great shade on you! As much as I like the design, though, I think I'm really a powder blush kinda person.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Leah. I love the idea of cream blushes, but I rarely reach for them myself, I find powders easier to use.
