Yeah, so it's "empties" time. Which means another month is done and dusted. I am always surprised how quick these posts seem to come around. It's dizzying just how quick this year is flying! I got through a handy amount of products, it's going to feel good binning these empties! MasqueOlogy Brightening cloth masks- I enjoy how moisturising these masks are, and I find cloth masks so easy. No applying or needing to rinse off. Repurchase? I liked them, but don't feel the need to seek them out. Ciencia8 Cleanse8 Gel - This is a wonderful cleanser. Although, it's a gel, it doesn't strip the skin like some foaming cleansers can. Repurchase? I would but it's too pricey, especially when I can spend a lot less for decent products that do just as good a job. Skinn Dermalift Neck and Decollete Serum- This is the first cream I have used to target the neck area specifically. Very nice and moisturising. Repurchase? I would definitely u...

It really doesn't seem like a month since my last Empties post! Oh well, here goes.. A little bit of everything in this empties posts, except for perfume samples. Yeah, there's a lot of those! Masque-ology Brightening Mask- I bought some of these cloth masks online from Ozsale. It was very wet, but clung to my face well. There was a lot of product in this cloth mask. I removed after around 30 minutes. I then massaged the remaining serum into my skin. Repurchase? I didn't really see any changes in regards to whitening of my skin, which I could really use with all the pigmentation I have. However, I did find it soothing and very hydrating. I do have a couple of others that I am happy to use, but don't feel the need to seek them out to replace. Ciencia8 Preparation8 - This product takes the place of a toner. I have, and really like Beyonce "Heat", so it was only natural that I would want to give "Midnight Heat" a try. Plus the purple bottle is so pretty, so if I needed  a full size, I'd love the flacon, too ;) Description- " It opens with rich fruity flavours of plum from Armenia and star fruit. Orchid, black tulips and purple peony form the heart that gradually turns into the oriental base of warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli." I find that upon application, the florals in this perfume were a little green and almost herbal. Not a fan of this stage, however, the fruitiness and more sweeter floral emerges. This exotic transformation I do like.  Unfortunately by this stage, the silage is quite disappointing for me. I find that I have to sniff my wrists to actually smell the perfume, which is strange because the original version seems to last much longer. Oh well, it seems that I won't be adding the pretty purple bottle to my perfume collect...

I felt pretty good about the amount of products I finished in July. A little bit of everything, really. Makeup, skincare, perfume and nail related. Select nail polish remover- I go through nail polish remover fairly quickly, so will buy a back up during a food shop. Because most of my grocery shopping is at Woolworths, I mostly use the Select brand. Repurchase? Yes, it is convenient to buy. Skinn Hylighten Dark Circle and Puffiness Treatment - I had high expectations for this roll on serum for the under eye area. I have terrible dark circles and experience puffiness also. Repurchase? This serum was easy to add to my skincare routine because it absorbed so quickly. However, I didn't experience the results I desired, so I won't be repurchasing. Beyonce "Pulse" - A nice perfume. I hated the bottle, the base was small, so I was always knocking it over. Repurchase? The perfume did not wow me enough to warrant a replacement. Lacura Mineral Clay Mask - I...

Yes, yet another celebrity perfume to review. What can I say? I love my celebrity perfumes, I can't say why, but I do. It's not even that I am necessary a fan of the said celeb. I even like some of KK's perfumes! Description- " The fragrance opens with top notes of pear blossom, frozen bergamot and accord of Blue Curacao liqueur. The heart features Bluebird orchid, for the first time used in a fragrance. There are also notes of delicate peony and intensive midnight blooming jasmine. The base is warm, sensual and irresistible, made with Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods. "  Let me start off by saying that I am not a fan of the bottle. Yeah, it's different and very recognizable, but it is so impractical. It's rather top heavy, with a small base, so I am forever knocking it over. Annoying! Description- " It's opening notes include apricot, Italian bergamot, and iced basil sorbet. The main note of the perfume is, of course, orchid, which is mixed with freesia and Sambac jasmine flowers. Oh yum, upon first spray of Beyonce "Rise", the perfume bursts with sweet, golden apricot and tangy herbs, what a delicious blend.  Upon drydown, hello beautiful creamy florals, my favourite kind. The musk and woods ground this perfume. Beautifully rich, yet powders down making the fragrance like a warm hug. Very close to the skin and cozy, but there's an aura of elegance. Like wearing a warm jumper, that is so soft, yet luxurious. I don't get very good longevity with this perfume, becoming very close to the skin within an hour, but I do get gentle wafts from time to time for maybe 2 more hours, which is still not long lasting.
