Nail Art Wednesday

I've created a leopard print mani in the past and wanted to re-visit this fun and fairly easy to do pattern on my nails.
OPI "Taupe-less Showgirls", Orly "Liquid Vinyl" and Sinful Colors "Boom Boom".
 I love pink leopard print, I think it's so cute. I also wanted to change things up a bit, and try a pink and gold base, and then alternate the same polishes for the spots. I went for a golden champagne colour and a nice bright pink cream polish. My trusty Orly "Liquid Vinyl" was used to finish the leopard print.



I adore the colour combo, I think they work well to compliment each other.

      I always thought that leopard print would be hard, but it's really not. As you can see, there's no need to be overly neat and precise, I love it! xx

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
