Crush Cosmetics
Browsing Etsy I came across online shop, Crush Cosmetics. The look of the eye shadows really appealed to me, so I decided to place an order.
Shop owner, Kym, says this on her site, "Crush products are Vegan friendly and contain no parabens, silicones or phthalate. we strive to keep it simple and healthy, we stand by our product, we use our products we love our products."
I only ordered eye shadows, however, lip products, blush, bronzer and skincare is also available. The order was processed in an acceptable time frame. No contact was needed as everything associated with my order went smoothly. Upon arrival, my purchase was well packaged. Included was a card with a coupon code for 15% off my next order.
SMOKIN': Chocolate with silver shimmer and green shift.
BOMB SHELL: Coppery gold shimmer.
HONEY: Champagne shimmer.
TERRA NOVA: Mocha shimmer.
VINTAGE: Olive gold shimmer.
I really liked the shadow opening under the lid. The hole could be opened or closed, simply by twisting. I've never come across an eye shadow that has this, and I quite liked it. Completely open, the hole allowed enough room for an eye shadow brush to be dipped into the shadow.
Eye looks:
Here I used Bombshell on the lid, Honey under brow and Smokin' in crease and lower lashline.
For this look I used Vintage all over the eye area and Terra Nova on the crease.
I found that these shimmery shadows, although nice colours, generated a lot of fall out, and weren't the easiest to blend. I really liked the packaging, but this is not enough to encourage me to place another order.
