Project Increase Storage Space- Pressing Minerals
I loved the result of my past attempt at pressing minerals. It was fun and rewarding, knowing that I had created my own palette. I can only imagine what it must feel to create your own makeup! Anyway, I made another pressed minerals palette.
That's a terrible photo, it was too dark to take without flash, but you get the idea :)
I thought that Day To Night was a fitting name, due to the light neutrals and darker colours, for that more dramatic look.
These were swatched with my finger, no primer. I'm so happy with the pigmentation!
I am already sorting through my loose mineral stash to create another palette :)

Oh Indie!! You're so inspiring! I WANT to try this out so bad now. I still have all those beautiful loose shadows that you sent me. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colours in your palette and the name you've chosen too :-D
Oh, those shadows you have would be fabulous pressed! The only finish that doesn't work quite as well is matte, that's what
DeleteI've found anyway. .
The pigmentation is divine! And I love the colours you've included :) did you stick to a certain brand or use different ones?
ReplyDeleteI used different brands, I just made sure that none of them were matte, I am yet to perfect pressing that finish. I really should have made note of the eye shadows that I used!
DeleteI am constantly in awe at your ingenuity Indie - what a fabulous looking palette, damn I want to buy one!
ReplyDeleteThank you, lovely. It's quite fun, a little messy, but that's all part of the fun, right? :)
DeleteThis is so cool, such a neat idea! I agree with Kats, I want one! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks hun! It's like having a new palette without buying one. Fits in with my low-buy, and I have something new to play with! LOL
