AOA Studio Liquid Lipsticks

AOA is a brand that I had never heard of until I came across online store Shop Miss A. This store sells makeup, beauty tools and much more with almost everything costing no more than US$1, which is crazy to me. There are reviews of the products, which does make it easier when choosing what to buy. Though, at US$1 hit and miss products are not a huge deal. I bought mostly makeup, but threw in a few sheet masks and even a pair of sunnies!

What I would like to show you today are the AOA Studio liquid lipsticks. I bought both matte and metal versions.

From left to right we have OMG, Tease, Vanity, Sugar and Moon.

The lipsticks come with a standard doe foot applicator. They have a thin consistency. I find application fairly easy and these shades are nicely pigmented and are opaque in one application. No patchiness or streaking.

I was pleasantly surprised with just how comfortable the liquid lipsticks are to wear. It feels like there is nothing on my lips. The metals are smooth and not gritty.

As expected, these lipsticks have a long wear time. The Metals start to flake after a few hours, but the Mattes outlasted those, unless I ate something oily. Eating oily foods is not a great idea when wearing liquid lipsticks, it just breaks them down.

Now onto some face looks and lip swatches.

OMG

Tease

Vanity

Sugar

Moon

I've actually been blown away by how great these liquid lipsticks, the matte being my favourite. I only ordered to have a play and test them out, I didn't have any real expectations. For US$1 they're pretty amazing!
