Come Play With Me- How Low Can You Go?

The lovely Monique was kind enough to choose the next theme for the Come Play With Me series. She called it How Low Can You Go? Do a makeup look with minimal products, pretty easy, right? Certainly a challenge, but doable... just. Monique was clever enough to only use 5 products, you can see that here, check out how amazing her winged eye is, using a mascara, WOW!
Hailey shows us how you can create a polished look with 4 products, yes 4!! Kat reveals that all you need is 5 products for an amazing "face".

  I managed to create a look with 8 products, not impressive, but for me, it's a major cull in products!

 Face
Garnier BB cream for combination/oily skin in medium
Inouvi "Pink" blush.

 Eyes
Performance Colors Double Duty Matte Cream Eyeshadow in "Earth Taupe".
MAC "Blue Brown" shadow to line.
UD 24/7 Liner "Midnight Cowboy" applied to my lower waterline. 
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara.

 Lips
Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Scarlette
Lip balm


It's amazing how applying makeup can make you feel, even if it isn't a full makeup routine.

    Awesome work Indie - you look just as glamorous as when you use far more bits and bobs! Crikey, I reckon this will be tres difficile for moi - will give it a go on the weekend, but I doubt I'll get under 10 lol...

    You look amazing! I love this challenge, it sounds like it was a lot of fun (and maybe a bit stressful) haha.

    I often think my 'basic' makeup is pretty straightforward until I realise I have to get ready in 15 minutes and struggle. :P

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
