Lipstick Declutter Intro

I try and sort through my lipsticks yearly, so decided that this time around I would blog about it in the same format as my nail polish declutter. I will try each lipstick on that I own and decide whether or not I want to keep it. Why not share the experience with you, too!

I love the Maybelline Creamy Mattes, so will be keeping the 3 of them. I will also be keeping the Burt's Bees and Freedom lipsticks, both are nice nudes with a creamy formula. I will be decluttering the Boe Professional lipstick, it's a nice shade, I just find the formula slips and slides on my lips too much.

    It's such a good idea to declutter your lipsticks yearly! It's definitely a part of my collection that gets too big too fast. All of these shades are really diverse and pretty, it would be hard to pick between them!

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over! Taken from BH Cosmetics - "This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery blendable formulas with staying power."
