September didn't bring many new favourite products to my attention. I had been using pretty much the same basic makeup and skin care products throughout the month, apart from the many lipsticks I have been reviewing.
Here are the products that I have been loving.
Skinn Reorganize Eye Balm
If you are in need of some extra moisturising for the eye area, this is a product you should try. It is a balm that is so soothing. It's quite thick, so I apply at bedtime. I often can still feel remnants of the rich product the next day. However, it's not greasy and doesn't migrate to other areas of my face.
This eye balm now sits beside my bed.
Mon Ennui "Half Jack"
Golden green with gold shimmer.
This loose mineral eye shadow is so pretty. I find myself reaching for it a few times a week. I love green shadow with my brown eyes. Of course, I love the extra sparkle, too. You can see me wearing it here.
Smashbox Lip Gloss in "Poise"
This sheer pink gloss with micro glitter has been a gloss that I have been loving wearing over a nude or nude pink lipstick. I find it compliments light lipstick shades beautifully. I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks, but it's been nice to sport some glossy lips occasionally.
BH Cosmetics Color Lock Lipstick in
I only wore this lipstick once, but seriously, it was love at first application. It is my favourite purple lipstick in my collection. Purple can be an intimidation shade, not for the faint of heart. But, I found this colour to be so wearable. Stay tuned for a review of these lipsticks from BH Cosmetics.
In an attempt to review my full sized bottles of perfume, I reconnected this perfume I have had for a long time. It's sweet juicy fruity floral couldn't have come at a better time, it's the perfect fragrance for these warmer months.
My favourite thing about September is that it is the beginning of Spring! I just love the blooming blossoms, they make me so happy.
I'm happy for the return of The X Factor. I must say I'm sad that Red Foo is no longer a judge, but am glad Guy is back.
My 9 year-old son and I watched this movie in 3D. Edge of your seat stuff. I can't see myself climbing the famous summit any time soon!
