BH Cosmetics 28 Color Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

I know I really didn't need a matte eye shadow palette, but looking at all the lovely neutrals in the BH Cosmetics 28 Color Neutral Eyeshadow Palette, I just couldn't resist.

The palette has a clear plastic lid which I really like because I can see the shadows without needing to open first.

So many neutrals to choose from, I love that they range from cool to warm, so any look you want to create is covered. The shadows are a little powdery causing kick up when dipping a brush in the pan. I'm totally ok with that when they are as nice to use as these mattes are. A good matte to me is one that has decent pigmentation, yet blends well. These tick both.

I'm not one to wear a totally matte eye and bought this palette for the purpose of eye contouring, but in the spirit of reviewing this palette, I created some matte only eye looks.

    I love matte palettes and this one is gorgeous ! I know it is powdery but the formula is really nice ! I love the looks that you did.

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
