Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
I actually come to have the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara in my stash thanks to a giveaway I won some time ago. I like to only have one mascara open at a time and will generally use a mascara in order of purchase.
Taken from Priceline- "Revolutionary 100% Natural Origin formula contains the purest ingredients and provides 5x Lash Boosting for lash length, volume and definition naturally."
I must begin by saying that I love the packaging. That metallic green leaf wand topper is so cute! Plus the tube has an organic look with the green label on beige. There is 7.5 g of product. The formula is on the thicker side, but I find the opening of the stopper at the mouth of the tube is small enough to remove excess from the brush.
The brush begins narrow, widens in the middle, then tapers off again. It has a plastic brush. I don't get a lot of volume with this mascara, but I do get length. I find the many fine plastic bristles ensure that I get decent separation without any clumps.
Because I prefer a mascara that offers more volume, I would use this one for minimal makeup days. However, I don't like the formula. I am sad about this as I was excited to have a natural mascara. But, this product smudges on me. Even without applying to my lower lashline, I get transfer there and as the day goes I get smudging. I had high hopes for the Physicians Formula Organic Wear mascara, but sadly it is a pass for me.

What product has let you down recently?
I haven't tried this mascara but if it smudges, I wouldn't want to keep using it. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com

DeleteIt's a shame about this mascara! Recently, I tried the collection corrector where the shade just didn't work for me x

It sucks when something doesn't live up to expectations, but what works for some just doesn't work for others xx
DeleteI like their bronzer but never really got into their mascara either. I wish the wand wasn't so large and that it would dry faster. Thanks for sharing your honest review! XO, Ellese

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what their other mascaras are like, but, yeah, I wouldn't recommend this one, Amy xx
