Current Skincare Routine 2018

It's been a while since I showed you my current skincare routine. I have quite a few products waiting in the wings to be used, so I'm sure my routine will soon change. If I waited for my routine to stay the same, I would never get around to doing this post.

Let's get into the products that I am using.

I begin my routine in the morning with some Simple Toner on a cotton pad and massage across my face. I follow the toner with the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner to give my skin a nice hydrating drench. I then spot treat my more lined areas with the Beauty By Nicholas No No Needles serum.

Before applying The Ordinary Buffet serum, (which I can't see leaving my routine for some time) I give my skin a spritz with rosewater. Next comes my eye cream, which I'm currently using the Dermalogica Total Eye Care. Once the eye cream absorbs, which is very quickly, I follow with a mix of the Jojoba Company Pigmentation Oil and Swisse Rosehip Facial Moisturiser.. My morning skincare routine is finished off with the Wotnot Sunscreen and Primer, I can't be without a sunscreen!

I know that I normally create separate posts for my AM and PM routines, but I decided against it this time around because apart from 3 products my night skincare routine is currently the same as my morning one.

If I've worn makeup, I begin my night routine with the Swisse Moringa Cleansing Oil then I follow with the Sukin Cream Cleanser. Using a cotton pad, I then apply The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toning Solution. Skipping the Simple toner, I then repeat the rest of my morning routine.

Are you happy with your skincare routine, or do you like to change things up?

Comments

  1. I'm pretty happy with my regime atm (although I continue to forget to regularly clean my face of a morning); but once my Aspect Extreme B serum finishes I'll swap it for The Ordinary's Niacinamide serum, that's about all.

My routines don't change that much unless I swap a product for something similar e.g. I finish a facial mist from one brand & swap it for something from another brand.

    1. It's probably better for your skin to stick to what you know, Shell. my problem is that there's always something new that I want to try!

  2. The content of mine is constantly changing Indie - I'm quite fickle when it comes to skincare. I have my favourites of course, but I can't help but try anything new that comes out lol!
