February Empties
I hope your year so far is going well. I am sad to see Summer ending, but Autumn is better than Winter, my least favourite time of year. I'll get to showing you the products that I finished in February.
Not a bad month for empty products and products that I am decluttering.
Skin Republic 24K Gold Aquagel Under Eye Patch- The pack contains 2 sets of serum infused patches for the under eye area. These worked well to plump out my crows feet.
Repurchase? I really liked the results I got and would definitely consider buying in the future.
Skin Republic Youthfoil Face Mask- I must say that this foil mask was fun to use. A nice mask to give the skin a hit of hydration, leaving soft, refreshed looking skin.
Repurchase? It's not my favourite Skin Republic sheet mask, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again.
Red Ginseng Essence Mask Sheet? A cloth sheet mask. Not much else to say really.
Repurchase? I wouldn't bother trying to seek out this mask to buy again. It wasn't bad, just didn't excite me.
Collagen Facial Mask- A hydrating cloth sheet mask.
Repurchase? No, another meh sheet mask. There are so many available that I would only repurchase a sheet mask that excited me.
Skin Republic Neck and Decolletage Repair- This sheet mask is only for the neck and decolletage area. This mask hydrated my neck and chest area, making any lines barely visible.
Repurchase? I would definitely consider buying this sheet mask again. It provided such noticeable results. I was impressed.
Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask- This was a sample sachet of the clay mask. This mask worked well to deep cleanse and clarify my skin, but it also provided a healthy glow to my skin.
Repurchase? I will definitely be buying this clay mask in a full size. It surpassed my expectation of a clay mask.
Sukin Anti-Pollution Facial Masque- This is a typical clay mask. It's great for deep cleansing the skin.
Repurchase? I don't feel that I need this face mask in my life, my skin enjoys more hydrating treatments.
Beauty By Nicholas No No Needles Serum- This is a product that is meant to just be applied to areas of concern where it comes to lines and wrinkles. It is a temporary fix.
Repurchase? I prefer products that provide permanent results. This product worked well, I just don't wish to add the extra step to my skincare routine, to be honest.
NS8 Heel Balm- A cream for cracked, dehydrated heels. It's rich, but absorbs fairly quickly. Consistent use of this product meant I had smoother heels.
Repurchase? A great product that I really need to repurchase!
Swisse Rosehip Oil Facial Moisturiser- I finished a trial size of this moisturiser. It's a decent no-frills cream. I used it morning and night.
Repurchase? I am currently using a full size that I have and would consider repurchasing. I used the Vitamin E version and have found this one to be slightly more hydrating (plus I love rosehip oil!)
Sierra Bees Pomegranite Lip Balm- This is one of a pack of 5 lip balms that I bought from iHerb. A great everyday lip balm which I love the flavour of.
Repurchase? These were very budget friendly and quite good for the price, soothing but not too waxy or sticky. I would buy again.
The Jojoba Company Pigmentation Oil- This oil was beautiful and hydrating on my skin, but after using this bottle I saw no visible improvement in my pigmentation.
Repurchase? Although I actually enjoyed using this oil, I wanted to target my pigmentation and this product just didn't cut it.
Dermalogica Total Eye Care- I love that this eye cream has SPF, though it is only a rating of 15+ which just isn't high enough for me. It is a tinted eye product, but not really noticeable when applied.
Repurchase? This is an ok all-rounder, but I need a more hydrating eye cream, so I wouldn't spend my money on this product.
NS8 Leg Cream- This cream formulated for the legs is silky smooth and gives a cooling effect on the legs.
Repurchase? I can see why people like this product, but I don't need it, I'm happy to use a regular body moisturiser, so nope I'm not buying.
Sally Hansen Nail Rehab- A nail treatment to strengthen the nails. I used it as a base coat. I enjoyed how quick it dried.
Repurchase? I didn't use it consistently enough to see stronger nails (which I could really do with). It was fine as a base coat, but I constantly switch up my nail products. so not sure I'll come back to this one.
Garnier BB Cream for Combination/Oily Skin- I love that this BB Cream gives almost a medium coverage and actually sets on my skin so that it's not greasy like some BB Creams I have tried.
Repurchase? This is my HG BB Cream and I will continue to repurchase.
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Seashore Frosts- This is an eye shadow cream that I used as an eye shadow base. I am so happy to finish another Color Tattoo. I have a few and am worried that they are going to go bad before I use them up.
Repurchase? Great product, but I have a few so I won't be buying this or any other Color Tattoo for quite some time.
I am getting rid of these lipsticks and nail polishes after trying them on for my respective declutter series. I am also saying goodbye to the Maybelline Brow Tattoo. It's not a bad product, but it takes too much time to do my brows with it. I know I'm never going to use it. It pains me to bin the Wotnot Sunscreen/primer. I wasn't happy with the greasiness and white cast, but it performed well under makeup. Unfortunately my skin reacted to it, so I we are going to part ways.
Well, that wraps up another empties post. Thanks for reading! xx
Im like you are trying to work my way through my color tattoos....they last forever so its such a huge thing when you finish one
ReplyDeleteSo true, Color Tattoos are like a never ending pot, lol
DeleteWow you got through a fair bit of stuff last month! Sheet masks are pretty easy to use up, but I've begun to think that they don't work for me. They tend to sit incorrectly on my skin.

You're right, Shell, sheet masks are so easy, it's almost cheating to include them, lol
