Breeze Balm
When the team at Breeze Balm generously offered me to try their product, I was quick to say yes. I mean, who doesn't love lip balm? In fact, my dry lips need it.
*Not a sponsored post. Product was sent for my consideration.
The founder of Breeze Balm, Sammy Leo, not only wanted to sell a lip balm that had been a formulation created by her pharmacist Grandfather in the 1950s, much loved by locals and families and friends of the Leo family. She also wanted to create a brand that made customers smile, the main attribute of beauty just being yourself. More info can be found here.
The balm comes in a squeeze tube with 15g of product. It has a lipstick shaped applicator that you can press to the lips as the tube is squeezed to dispense product on directly.
The balm is has a creamy consistency, like a whipped balm.
There are 7 flavour choices available and I settled on Candy Kiss, I couldn't resist the thought of having the taste of candy on my lips! It tastes and smells as good as it sounds!
When I first applied the balm, it smoothed nicely on my lips and felt light, not sticky or tacky at all. I was concerned that the formula was too light to provide enough moisture for my chapped lips. There was no reason for concern, however because the balm drenches my lips, providing adequate moisture whilst soothing.
Not only was the hydration a very welcome result, but the effect surprisingly lasted for hours, even after the lip balm had disappeared. Normally once a lip balm wears off, I have to quickly reach for another application, repeating several times a day. Not even half the amount of reapplications with Breeze Balm. This has quickly become my favourite lip balm, a definite win for me!
