Palette Appreciation- LA Colors "Wildflowers"

I am really enjoying this palette series, it's like I've got new goodies to play with and I'm not spending a dime!

This time around, I used LA Colors "Wildflowers", a beautiful palette that the lovely Kat from Kats Colourings very kindly sent me. Sorry hun that it's taken me this long to use it, but I sure do love it! The palette delivers some bright colour, probably suited to the warmer months, but meh, I just generally wear whatever shades take my fancy, no matter the season.

The shadows are so easy to work with, having a nice texture and easy blendability. Just as a side note, I did use shadows other than the palette to contour, however the main focus is on the palette, as you'll see.

Look 1. I just love that orange colour! I wasn't sure that I would, but it wasn't as pigmented as it looked, which made it so wearable!

Look 2. I couldn't wait to try the deep pink colour on my lids. I was going to the movies, and thought I had plenty of time to have a play, wash my face, then go out. No, I did not use my time wisely, before I knew it, my time had run out, lol.  Glam eyes with comfy casual clothes, not quite the match. Oh well, did love the eye look, tho, and well I spent most of the time in the dark, anyway, lol!

Look 3. Pink and purple are such a perfect combo :)

If you have not tried LA Colors before and you happen to come across the brand, give it a try!

  3. Indie hon I'd completely forgotten about sending you this palette, so no apologies PLEASE, and especially not after seeing what you've done with it - gosh this is a feast for my tired old eyes! I've barely used anything except the raspberry from this palette, and you've totally inspired me doll ♥ I can't decide which one I love more, they're all so pretty xxx

    1. Thank you, lovely. I often admired this palette, but is with most of my palettes, it hadn't been used. Such a shame, because it is so pretty. Thanks to you, I got to experience how nice the LA Colors shadows are xx
