ColourPop Shadows in "So Quiche" and "Fantasy"

Ok, so I have shared with you, or should I say raved to you about ColourPop's Lippie Stix, now I want to show you their eye shadows, well, two of them. I can't believe I was able to refrain myself and just purchase two, but it was more to try and see what the hype was about.

These aren't your regular pressed pigment. The texture is so creamy, I guess the closest eye shadow that I can compare these to, would be L'Oreal Infallibles, yet these are more mousse like (???)

"So Quiche" and "Fantasy"

Although I was excited to try the ColourPop eyeshadows, it almost felt daunting using a formulation that I was not familiar with. I'd read that application is best with a finger, but decided to try a brush instead. My eye shadow brush of choice was a flat shadow brush, synthetic of course. To my surprise and relief it worked fine.

I did need to pack the product on my lids, especially "So Quiche" which I applied to most of the area, then "Fantasy" on the outer v.

"So Quiche" is a rather hyped up eye shadow on social media, and let me say that it did not disappoint. It is hard to capture just how pretty this shade is. Neutral, yet has sparkle adding glamour to this shadow.

"Fantasy" is such a fun purple shade. Not for the faint of heart, but ya'll know I love me some bright colour!

The wear time of ColourPop eye shadows (well these 2) is fantastic. Lasted for hours, without disappearing on my lids or smudging. No dreaded creasing, either.

I'm in love, I want more!

  2. The Fantasy looks so purple in the pot, but it looks so pink in the swatch & on your eyes. Both are beautiful colours. I always like to know how everything lasts, regarding creasing &c. Great review!
