Simple NOTD Sunday

Although this is a scary thought, if I could only choose one nail polish to wear ever (shudder!) it would have to be this one! I can not stop looking at this gorgeous hot pink colour with lilac shimmer. 



Layla Softouch Effect shade 04. Isn't this textured polish divine? Well, if you're a lover of pinks, like I am, I'm sure you think she's pretty :)

    She's a stunner Indie, adore it - how I wish I could find a lippy like this. I have some bright pinks that are similar, but they don't have the shimmer. This is extra gorgeous against your tan hon ♥

    Haha me too, I have a tendency to stare at pretty shimmers. I'm not usually a hot pink girl but this colour is mesmerizing!

      Some time ago, Layla polishes were on sale through Ozsale. Sorry, hun, that's not overly helpful. I wish that they were more readily available. Mind you, I have a feeling that normal retail price would certainly be higher than $4 that I snapped them up for :)

BYS Berries Palette

I have bought from the brand BYS in the past, but I can't say I've actually sought out anything from them. Well, that was until I saw swatches popping up on my Instagram feed of the Berries palette.  It's a 12 pan palette and has a similar vibe going on to the much loved and raved about ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Of course, I do not own the pricier ABH palette, but I just had to have the Berries palette. Taken from BYS - "BYS Berries Eye Shadow Palette features an array of 12 expertly chosen, highly pigmented matte and metallic eye shadows. The 12 piece palette comes housed in a modern, embossed tin. featuring a mirror and 2 dual end applicators." The tin packaging of this palette is really cute, it reminds me of the Naked 2 and 3 palettes. It is a little bulky, but I like it. BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
