To Repurchase Or Not To Repurchase- Dr LeWinns Gentle Facial Cleanser
I generally use a foaming cleanser. To be honest, I've always thought that my skin was cleaner, when in actual fact, with some of the harsher cleansers that I have used, my skin is being stripped.
I received Dr LeWinns Gentle Facial Cleanser in a GWP. Formulated with facial oils, vitamin A, Squalene and Aloe Vera, this blend is gentle on the skin, yet effectively removes impurities, including sometimes hard to remove eye makeup. It is suitable for sensitive skin, yet all skintypes can benefit from using this cleanser.
The cleanser comes in a plastic bottle with screw top lid, which reveals a hole that dispenses product when the bottle is squeezed.
The pale green creamy cleanser actually smells green, fresh. It is quite a thick consistency. I like to use it at night when I have my shower.
Would I repurchase? Well, I have some cleansers to get through before buying any more. but I am determined to only buy cream cleansers in future. I've become to realise that a squeaky clean face is not ideal, even on skin that is prone to oiliness. I like that this cleanser removed impurities, yet was hydrating for my skin, even after it was washed away. My skin was left soft and smooth, not tight and dry.
Using only in the PM, the cleanser lasted for months, making it rather budget friendly. Thanks to Dr LeWinns, I have now experienced that a creamy cleanser can adequately clean my skin, with the benefit of not being harsh or drying.

DeleteI have a foaming one to get through but I agree it's stripping my skin too. I have an oil cleanser in my cupboard I'll try next.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy using an oil cleanser. I'm the same, unless something is really terrible for my skin, I feel the need to finish before starting another, lol. I hope you enjoy the oil cleanser, hun :)
