Mirenesse "Innocence" Bullet Proof Nail Lacquer and Maybelline Color Show "Magenta Mirage" Shredded Nail Lacquer

If you follow me on Instagram, you would have already seen this nail look. I participate in a weekly lipstick challenge, and we were required to match our nails with lipstick. It's a lot of fun, and a great way to use different lipsticks. 

 Anyway back to my nails...
 Mirenesse Bullet Proof Nail Lacquer "Innocence" and Maybelline Color Show Shredded Nail Lacquer "Magenta Mirage".

I just loved the gorgeous vibrant pink of the Maybelline crackle, it's pretty over the nude Mirenesse polish, but could be so fun over another contrasting bright colour, or even black. Love it!



 ...and this is the matching lip look!

    I'm still loving crackle. I've got quite a few, but my favourite is denim blue, which I wear over pastel blue. I like your pink/nude combo. You've definitely got a unique way of matching your lips & nails! Go girl!

      Denim blue crackle over pastel blue would look great! I was over the crackle look for a while, but I'm enjoying them again. It is such an easy way to create a nail art look.

BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette and Giveaway

When BH Cosmetics released the original Carli Bybel palette I was tossing up whether I was going to purchase it or not. Sure, it was pretty with lovely neutral shades, but I was trying to cut down my eye shadow palette buying to only palettes that I really, really had to have and I wasn't convinced that was the case. When the Carli Bybel Deluxe version was released containing 15 shadows and 6 highlighters as opposed to the original which had 10 eye shadows and 3 highlighters, I had to have it. I went as far as pre-ordering the palette before it was even released. The sneak peek swatches had won me over!
